The studio is well laid out, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Really enjoyable sitting on your own deck looking out over a paddock. Lots of bird life and kangaroos to look at. Close to Margaret River and all the region’s attractions.

This was our third stay and as usual it was absolutely idyllic. The Studios are superbly designed for luxurious comfort, privacy (you can't see or hear anyone else) and to unwind and soak up the gorgeous scenery. One thing we particularly love is how lthe studios are so filled with light, and the huge windows make the outside an extension of the living area. The lovely hosts Paul and Claudia have thought of absoutely everything possible to ensure that your special getaway is just that - they are around if you need them but otherwise you'll feel like it's your very own magical country hideaway. Drinks or meals on the deck are really special and the only life you'll see are the kangaroos and lots of beautiful birds that come very close. Another huge plus about Hilltop Studios is the location - only ten or so minutes to beaches in one direction and the Margaret River township in the other it feels extra privileged to have so much space and privacy and a rural setting so close to everything. We couldn't recommend Hiltop Studios highly enough - we just wish it was closer (we're in northern NSW). We can't wait for our next visit.

The studios are situated in a very picturesque location well away from any road noise. The bathroom is brilliant: plenty of room and well appointed bathed in natural light from a full wall of windows. We found the bed very comfortable with adequate room to hang clothes and store same underneath. The sun bathed the deck from 9-3 in October and the view is so peaceful with local fauna to watch out for. The split air con went kaput on us but host Paul provided 2 heaters that worked just fine. And, bless him, he arrived on our doorstep one morning with a platter of cheese, biscuits, flowers and wine for the inconvenience. Nice touch! All the windows feature slimline venetians that block out the morning light if you want a sleep-in. And love cooking with the gas cooker! Situated 7 kms from Bussel Hwy turnoff, you're just 5 mins from Margaret River township. Otherwise, Caves Road is just 200 metres from the Studio driveway: ready to get you going to the vineyards.

The owner called in the morning to advise the studio number and the location of the key and that heater will be on for our arrival later in the night… Thanks so much A lovely little surprise of nibbles and a bottle of wine on arrival – Thank You My previous reviews/stays explains all that’s provided in the studios, nothing has changed there. Studio was very clean, in room Wi-Fi worked well and we enjoyed the nice big bed. Blankets supplied for extra warmth. We love waking up to open the blinds to see how many kangaroos are out in the paddock. Couple of things we haven’t experience before: - Satellite tv remote is wearing and very hard to push the buttons to change channels, need finger nails to push hard. - Alot of banging & clanking on the outside of the studio that woke me each morning, we haven't experienced that before. We have stayed before in winter. - Conditioner supplied but no shampoo - we thought this very odd, so we had to go buy some.
