We booked this hotel as we were visiting Burnley for a friend’s party. It was easy to get to, had lots of free parking, was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. As would be expected with Premier Inn the rooms were spacious and the beds super comfy. Our room had a bath with shower and the shower was lovely and powerful. We overlooked the car park but it was still a quiet and good nights stay. There is a pub next door but we didn’t use that. This hotel is right by the park and canal, and very close to Burnley FC stadium.

The two night experience was dire. Room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. Long hairs in the bed. Restaurant and bar was closed. No breakfast on second day even though we prepaid. Came back to a man being arrested by police in reception. Sleep broken on second night by fire alarm false alarm.  Still waiting our refund for the breakfast that wasn't offered. Forced out to eat on bitter cold nights. Hideous, never to be repeated experience.

Paid for early check-in and breakfast but got neither. Arrived at about 1pm expecting to check in only to be told there was a boiler problem so had to come back after 3pm. This ruined our arrangements for the day. The room was OK and slept well. In the morning when heading for breakfast were told it was unavailable but the could direct us to local cafes. They are clearly doing renovations and I just don't think this was an unexpected event. I am supposed to get a refund but the whole experience is unacceptable.

Awful. Grubby rooms. One member of staff in the bar all evening, which is illegal. One member of staff in the hotel, no colleagues. No staff in the kitchen - no food Pre-Paid for breakfast - no staff to make breakfast. Had to leave the hotel to have dinner and have breakfast. Hugely inconvenient. Hugely disappointing.

Very disappointed. After a long drive was informed that there was no food available in adjoining restaurant. Most disappointing was the fact the room was cold at 10°c. On informing reception was told to put thermostat at maximum of 32°c and then adjust down. After having to go off site for a meal I attempted to do as instructed with the the thermostat, to no avail. As extremely tired myself and my 13 year old son resigned ourselves to wearing several layers of clothing and and an uncomfortably cold night. In the morning the breakfast we had paid for and were assured would be available was not. This meant a scramble elsewhere to get breakfast before my son's football game . A poor experience.

Rooms were okay but service and staff was bad. The WiFi was down and no one alerted us until we mentioned it, after that, no time frame was given. We had no WiFi until Monday night which we only discovered when our phones finally connected. This was a big problem due to the fact that we had no signal either and couldn’t even use our phones to communicate with anyone. We booked for the meal deal with breakfast in the morning and the staff were rude when we walked in because they had overbooked and didn’t have space. We had young kids and they were prepared to turn us away knowing we had paid for breakfast. The breakfast wasn’t fully available and the continental was non existent. The food was not replenished in a timely manner and plate availability was also minimal. Therefore it was 20 minutes before being able to actually have a cooked breakfast and the queue for food was large because everyone was in the same position. The staff working that morning were very rude and then proceeded to walk around with a bad attitude whilst we were still there having breakfast which made for a bad atmosphere and unwelcome environment. We had no desire to go back after that and for what it costs - the food was not worth it.

Don’t expect a hot tasty breakfast. The restaurant is under redevelopment but still charging guests for either a Continental or cooked breakfast. We were advised that there would be reduced dining capacity, but not that the restaurant would be closed completely between breakfast and dinner. After a six hour drive we were unable to get a cup of coffee there or access our room before 3.00pm. What a sad display of poor quality eggs, sausages and beans at breakfast the following morning. Rock hard hash browns and no black pudding, as had been advertised. There is better food available elsewhere for £10.99 per head.
