A warm and welcoming environment with great food and great staff. The room was beautiful with tasteful decor and great views of the New Forest. Breakfast was appetising with varied choices and Julie and Dawn were friendly waiting staff who clearly enjoyed their job

Lovely friendly hotel. We stayed with our 2 young girls. Couldn’t fault our stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Couldn’t do enough for you. We had an evening meal here and breakfast, the food was delicious and well presented. Would highly recommend, perfect for families

Spent a couple of days, which provided a good location for exploring the New Forest. The room was really comfortable with all the amenities needed. All of the staff we interacted were great, really friendly and personable. Breakfast were good but unfortunately the other food we ate in the restaurant was not.

Regular yearly stay, always wonderful with lovely staff. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we stayed for 2 nights and we had a Beautiful room with a lovely bath and we were well looked after. The White Buck is a perfect base to explore the new forest and the coast. Everything was clean, lovely ambience with the open fires for a quiet evening drink, we did have breakfast which was adequate - thank you to Julie for fab service with a smile. Dinner menu wasn't to our taste but I did have the fish and chips and my husband had the chicken supreme which was nice. Thank you again for a lovely stay ❤️

Eating at the White Buck is always a pleasure.The food is well cooked and presented and the service is attentive but not intrusive.A lovely setting in the heart of the New Forest.Beats the Pig every time and its silly prices.The best Sunday roast Lamb ever just give it a go.

Employ more staff please!! Booked a twin/zip and link room weeks ago but they've put us in a double. Had to wait over and hour for the receptionist to go and clean and make up another room (thank you to her for her help) The room she put us in had twin beds but sadly after coming up from dinner we realised we'd been put over the bar/restaurant.....the noise was unbearable but late at night I didn't want to move again. Weird noise coming from chimney breast ALL NIGHT (maybe air drawing up it). 6am ish onwards noisy delivery, staff setting up for breakfast etc etc.... Dinner service was next to none, waited nearly an hour and a half for our food. It was easier to just go up and get another drink at the bar as no one came to take our plates, check food was OK, all of we wanted anything else......food was bland and small portions We are so tired this morning.
