While the format of the Staybridge hotels are really nice (we had a King suite), there are issues here I've not seen addressed in other reviews. It's clear they are struggling with housekeeping, as our room had dirty dishes in the cupboards, pieces of granola bar in the space between the TV cabinet and wall, a dirty shower, food under the snack bar and the couch. Coffee but no sugar/creamer packets. But what I absolutely detest the most is the ”lighting/electricity” setup! It does NO good to provide power outlet lamps everywhere, when they are completely dependent on the ”MASTER SWITCH” being on, but when it's on, you can't turn the OVERHEAD lights off, meaning you are disturbing anyone still trying to sleep. It also means that any electronics you are trying to CHARGE overnight, are NOT getting charged, unless the overhead lights are on??? Stupid set up. However, some pluses: The receptionist was a gem. The breakfast and seating was great. The outdoor area is very nice, and the pool looked clean.

We had a very mixed experience with this hotel. It was the worst check-in experience we’ve ever had. Check in is supposed to be 3pm, we arrived about 5:30pm and they didn’t have a clean room for us yet. We came back at 7:30pm and they found us a room finally. Or so we thought. We booked a 1 bedroom suite with a separate bedroom and when we walked into the room I noticed it was only a single studio room. So we had to haul all of our luggage back down to the front desk and tell them they gave us the wrong room. The employee tried to say that’s what I booked and that’s all they have. I showed her my confirmation email. Eventually someone else showed up and said she’s still cleaning some rooms!? This is about 5 hours past the check-in time they advertise. She said there was one of the suites available. They were going to give it to the person behind us that was waiting because he also got the wrong room and was waiting for a clean 1 bedroom suite. They finally got us in a room. It was a handicapped accessible room which was fine except the shower was very short and made for someone in a wheelchair. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and well stocked. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable but the couch fold out bed in the living room for our adult son was terrible. He said he could feel the bars of the frame through the thin mattress. The check-in process I give one star and the room I give 4 stars. Not being able to get the room I paid for until almost 8 pm is ridiculous.

Loved the water slides, kids had a blast. room was clean, and updated, though you could tell it is an older motel. Staff was friendly and location was great.

We stayed here for two nights during a recent trip across North Dakota; it is a nice Hampton, and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had the typical good Hampton Inn selection; our A/C worked well and had a constant-on fan setting (good for sleeping). We used their washers & dryers and encountered no problems. The wall-mounted toiletries were placed too high up on the wall to reach comfortably. The only big negative to this hotel is its location right at the intersection of the interstate and another major highway; the traffic noise outside our window (Room # 406) disturbed us all night; guests might want to choose an odd-numbered room. Also, our room rate was a bit high.

I'm very picky and I could not find anything wrong with Holiday Inn Express and Suites. The pool and hot tub were warm. The breakfast was one of the best I've experienced. The room was spacious and the mattress and pillows were excellent. I was going to complain about the breakfast buffet ending at 9:30 a.m. which I thought was early but they served past that time so even that made me happy. My only issue was that the only ice maker was on the first floor.
