Excellent location, and not just for the tranquility and great views. It is only a few minutes drive off of a tarmacked road that is 20 minutes to Fort Portal and 10 minutes to the Chimp trekking point in Kibale forest. The only complaint, and it is minor, is that the sign to the lodge for the main road is small and hard to spot. The staff who looked after us were amazing. The chef discussed every meal with us in advance so we could basically agree our own menu. The housekeeping staff kept the rooms spotless and even cleaned our shoes after hiking. The pool boy kept the pool clean and washed our car. The barman kept our glasses charged and amused our children by teaching them different ways of folding napkins. All in all, it was a great stay and fully recommended.
