Our group of 5 senior adults stayed 1 night here & were surprised that the motel was still trading by the look of the dilapidated entrance & unkempt grounds. The cobwebs around window & door screens were very evident. Both rooms had a musty smell to them. The room our group stayed in had what appeared to be mould on the wall backing onto the bathroom. The pipe from the toilet cistern to bowel was wrapped in silver duct tape but that didn't stop the water dripping onto the floor with every flush. It was annoying that the fridge was turned off when we arrived so had to wait till it cooled down before placing breakfast items inside. We had the room with disabled facilities yet the double bed was against the wall so 1 person had to disturb the other when getting out of bed. Thankfully the traffic noise was minimal, the bed comfortable & the heating worked well.

Our room was comfortable & quiet but it was obvious that previous guests had been allowed to have animals in the room - it had a disquietening obour!
The room was well equipped for a comfortable over night stay but is due for some upgrades

Ok for an overnight stay
Comfortable bed needs a good maintenance schedule put in place. Advertised a pool which hasn't been in use for a long time.

The room was way overpriced for what was a very basic and somewhat shabby property. The reception area was dirty and smelly. We saw cockroaches in the bathroom.

Warm welcome on arrival. Good position to get back onto motorway easily but not noisy. Basic amenities but clean and comfortable.
