Don't make a reservation. We booked two rooms. When we arrived, the owner gave us one room and moved the other room to a local hotel. The difference was huge and they wouldn't make up the difference. The next day, we found the owner at the front desk using the same excuse. Even the words used when dealing with other passengers who booked are the same; it is obviously the boss's routine, so it is very dishonest. Ctrip should cancel the cooperation with the merchant.

It is very likely that the user will be transferred to another hotel without a reputable owner.

The hotel has the feel of an old folk house and has a nice atmosphere. The hall where we eat breakfast is beautiful and many people take pictures of it.

A very unique B&B. The breakfast is rich and delicious.
I booked 3 rooms through Agoda company from 23/6 to 25/6 for two nights with full amount paid in advance, we were welcomed on the arrival day, they gave us room Nos. 01, 02, and 25, from outside its look antique and heritage but inside it was completely equipped with modern amenities, the breakfast was great and restaurant is beautiful and well maintained. The problem started on the check out day on 25/6/24, the front desk ask me to pay city tax @4 USD/person, we were 5 people they told me to pay 40 USD in cash, but I showed them that Agoda company has already charged room price with taxes and no extra taxes is mentioned in our invoice copy, but they denied to see our invoice, then I told them if city taxes is applicable then why didn't you told us on the first day (Check Inn date) then I have time to talk with the company and get the exact confirmation, then they started argument with me and tried to force to pay 40 USD which I denied from the beginning because I was not ready, after 1 hour of argument I had to call the Tourist Police, after that he listen both side argument, he told me to write an application that, I have not paid the city tax which to be settled between the hotel management and Agoda company which is genuine, after that we were free to go, in this process we lost 3 hours lost which nearly missed our train, it was harassment and mental torcher which I never expected from the reputed hotel. Yes I will say that manager's wife supported me and she was very honest lady her photo i have attached below. But it is A CAUTION FOR EVERY TOURIST BEWARE OF FALSE TAXES RECOVER BY THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT AT THE TIME OF CHECK OUT

Komil Hotel Bukhara is everything you want in a stay. The location is ideal, close to all the main attractions yet peaceful. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and full of local flavors. The heated floors? A game-changer—so cozy after a long day of exploring. The staff was warm and helpful, making us feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back!

Komil Boutique Hotel is a small charming hotel with lots of character. The location is great, within a few minutes walk of the main attractions of Bukhara. The rooms vary dramatically from one to another, but all have their unique charm. Our room was pretty average and we had troubles with the TV (when it did work, the only English language broadcast was Al Jazeera). The modest complementary breakfast was served in a fabulous 19th century room filled with antiques and character that looked more like a museum than a dining room.

We loved staying at Komil place It is an heritage place and the owner managed to maintain the place in good conditions with the antique atmosphere Breakfast is served in a stunning 19century room well decorated. good breakfast variety with fresh home made French fries . Owner was very helpful and respond fast to request . One thing to improve is the card payment , it was cash only ( also consider the 4 usd tourist tax per person per day to top up)

The Hotel is a 19th century building located in a narrow and quiet road adjacent to the old town. The rooms are wide and comfortable, adorned in a charming traditional local style. The breakfast includes mainly local dishes with a few sweet options. Breakfast is served either in an outdoor terrace or in an impressive 19th century dining room. Staff is very kind and prompt to assist you. Wifi worked perfectly.

Very good hotel and well maintained heritage hotel with excellent breakfast, evening staff are very good and welcoming, but worst part of this place is morning staff very unprofessional try to take forcefully taxes which is not told earlier at the time of entry, morning staff are young boys just under training period, all instructions given by the hotel owner over phone call. I personally feel this is scam tax which they keep in their pocket, everyday they argue with tourists when they left hotel. ALL FOREIGN TOURIST BE CAREFUL 👎

The staff on reception have a Jekyll and Hyde character: those working by day are friendly and welcoming, while those by night have lost the amiability. The hotel is based on a couple of old Uzbeki houses leading it to having great charm and character, though everyone may not like the colourful decor in the bedrooms. I had a room in the new block with a double bed, two bedside tables, a small table and a chair. There was a kettle for making drinks, but no tea or coffee sachets. There was a great variety of food at breakfast, one of the best breakfasts I have had in Uzbekistan. My problems began when I was about to leave. The night reception staff had great difficulty providing me with the official form for my stay there. I was then told I must pay tourist tax of four dollars per night. I had not paid this in Tashkent or Samarkand. I checked on the ******* app, which said the amount I owed was £4.34, less than the eight dollars they wanted. I ended up paying 72,000 som. In its favour, there is 24 hour reception and the prices are very competitive for what is on offer. It is also worth noting that Google maps says the hotel is on Ardabon street which is different from its address with *******.
