Fun Stay in Historical Setting We enjoyed our stay in this historical setting and the owners were quite sweet. The setting was relaxed and super quiet, but you'll want to make sure to check for bugs if you're staying in the original homestead house... you are out in the country. Just make note that the restuarant isn't open on Tuesdays so you'll have to drive a ways back into town.

Beautiful, rich history & excellent food! Wonderful ranch with rich history. Old buildings, so if you’re a city slicker looking for 5* luxury, TA isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a dude ranch feel, love animals & beautiful scenery & the best gourmet food… stay at TA:) If it’s hot outside, get a little fan at WalMart for your room.

Second time at TA Ranch. Love it! This was my second time staying at the TA Ranch. Unlike most Dude Ranches that require at least a three day stay, the TA Ranch is more accommodating and you can even stay there just one night, yet still get the dude ranch experience with horseback riding and being in the country. It’s only 15 minutes from town and even closer to Crazy Woman Canyon which is beautiful.

You wake up to the horses in the field and the smell of bacon cooking. I rated this excellent because it is an experience more than just a motel stay. If you want a real ranch country feel, this is like the series Yellowstone, live, with more modest accommodations.
