Buffalo Peaks B&B

I don’t get the great reviews. Although the outside of the building is beautiful, the inside is very dated and ordinary considering the price. I think about $150/night would be a fair price for a 5 star review. The rooms are cheaply decorated —lots of artificial flowers, cheap ring curtains, plastic interior doors — and had old carpet and bedding. The location was close to town and Cottonwood Pass but required driving for any activity. The owner was very sweet but not helpful in recommending activities. My recommendation is to stay in a hotel in town close to restaurants, the river, and hiking.

The accommodations are so beautiful. The views are tremendous and it’s so peaceful. Each room has its own name. Some have balconies. There is a quaint fire pit built into an old silo. The beds were comfortable. The lodge itself has so much character! The breakfast was homemade and delicious and fresh cookies were always available. Paz and her son are the hosts. They are wonderful people and have had quite a journey. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast! The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. They are private, unlike some Bed and Breakfasts. Paz the owner and host makes you feel right at home. Her breakfasts are delicious and it was fun to get to know her (When everyone was served she joined us) and the other guests. There are only 5 rooms. In addition to breakfast there are oranges and homemade cookies available all the time and cold waters in the refrigerator. The grounds are beautiful and it’s nice to relax in the chairs outside. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Buffalo Peaks Lodge was truly wonderful. Paz, the owner, is absolutely lovely — welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by blooming flowers, a peaceful garden, and a cozy patio with a fireplace. Our room was very spacious and nice, featuring a fireplace, a large bathroom, and even a hot tub. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was a real highlight: delicious and homemade, served at a large communal table, where we had the chance to chat with other guests and with Paz — such a lovely touch that added to the experience. We can wholeheartedly and fully recommend this B&B and would love to return one day. Thank you Paz!

Very nice B&B with comfy bedroom, view of mountains, great host and good breakfast. Would return again for sure.

Absolutely beautiful!! Host was kind and welcoming, breakfast was delish. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. The Princeton room with whirlpool tub was very relaxing after lots of travel. Such a beautiful property and the wildlife all around you is such an experience I'll never forget.
