Hotel Majestic

The hotel is very close to the old town, a very nice guy who checked us in. The room was nice, a bit of noise from the outside as it's on the main tourist promenade but nothing that would bother me. The staff at the breakfast room could not be nicer. The breakfast quality was great, the view of the old town from the breakfast terrace was great. The reason why I'm not giving this place 5 stars which it deserves is because of the old, grumpy woman who was most likely the hotel owner. From day one she was hanging around the reception area like a bad smell, goes on the lifts with guests, never and I mean never greets guests however she comes across as very angry and at times mad at her staff. She did not hesitate to give orders to her staff in the most unkind way in front of the guests. Once the reception was unattended and as I was waiting for the receptionist I saw her giving orders to the receptionist and some restaurant staff to bring her shopping in. So next thing you see is them carrying her shopping. The receptionist apologised but I felt so sorry seeing the way they were treated. Also, as you come to the 5th floor for breakfast you will notice a baby pram as you walk out the lift. That's where the owners son or daughter lives and they simply leave the pram. This is really unprofessional and unacceptable if they want to be recognised as a proper 4 star hotel rather then some bed and breakfast place. The owner of this place that i mentioned above needs some serious hospitality training as she gives a very negative vibe and during my stay the more I was seeing her around more I just wanted to leave. I would like to commend and thank all other staff, everyone was nice and more than friendly. Unfortunately, they are let down by the person who should be their role model.

We were two friends staying at Majestic, and both the hotel and the staff were great! We came a bit early on arrival day, but that was no problem, and a room was cleared right away! The breakfast was great and enjoyed on fifth floor terrace with a great view to Budva marina and the Old town. Everyday we got towels for the beach and the room was immaculate cleaned. The manager arranged for a full day trip sightseeing with a personal guide to visit nearby towns and ports. The manager and the staff did whatever they could to ensure we had a pleasent stay! The hotel is also situated close to both the marina and the Old town, making it an excellent choice for excursions. Can highly recommend hotel Majestic!
