Iberostar Waves Slavija

The hotel is not bad. The view of the balcony is good and it’s great to sit in the evening with a cup of coffee on the balcony, either in the morning or in the evening. The pool on the roof is impressive. But the declared spa, of course, is not what I would like to see and use. On the second day of using the spa, the hammam broke down. At breakfast, they forgot to put butter for the salad. And of course, I wanted to see real eggs in the omelet, and not a powder mixture for omelet. That is, if you want an omelet, you shouldn’t order it in hotels.

Beautiful self catering apartment in the quieter end of Budva (away from families and clubs), set just into the mountains. Great views from the balcony and indoor dining area, staff with excellent English and very friendly. Rooftop pool is very small but lots of sun beds and amazing to see the sea from up there and watch birds flying overhead as you cool down in the water. Very clean, good ensuite facilities, easy access to grocery stores and short walk to the beach and restaurants. Slightly longer walk to the old town (around 1.5 miles along the beach). We were on the 4th floor with wonderful views. (Only slight downside was no lift so a lot of stairs to climb. Good exercise!) Highly recommended!

Budva Old Town
We recently had a suite at hotel Astoria in the walls of Budva old town. It had all the features we needed such as air conditioning, large bed, good shower and fridge/ minibar. A cooked breakfast could be eaten inside or outside on the terrace. The beach bar had great views, food and drink. One evening we had a meal on the rooftop restaurant which was a lovely setting. Reception and cleaning staff all very polite and helpful. The hotels best plus point is it’s position at the main gate to the old town. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

On our 29-tday Balkan tour one of the ”weakest” hotels. Positive: - short distance to the old town - free parking for the car form hotel - rooms were clean Negative: - Hotel has not received our booking reservation neutral: - Receptionist did not speak any of our languages (German, English, Hungarian) - after talking to colleague on the phone it went then - next day the English-speaking colleague was there and explained everything and checked out with payment -> top! - the noise level - is on the main road. You have to live with the booking or know what to get in. A few trampers in front of the door that want to be taken with. Negative: - Because we every day in the evening our further route and stay The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. I was then nervous at the reception where many other people had gathered, who probably wanted all of them to have Wi-Fi - A motorcycle group arrived in the evening and parked right next to our room. Also our balcony was used for joyful conversations. Since the entrance to our room did not look like the terrace belonged to the room, but in general to the hotel, people were quite often right in front of our door. The group's exit was also nervous. I think in a room in the main house, taking into account the main street noise level and Wi-Fi only in public areas, would be 4 or 5 points possible. On the basis of our experience, I can unfortunately only give a ”satisfactory”.

Excellent location, right along the Budva Riviera and a 5min walk to the Old Town. As soon as you step outside the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants along the beach to choose from. Breakfast is included with the room, nothing fancy, but sufficient. The staff was very helpful & friendly...they were easily approachable. The room on the 2nd floor where I stayed was quite big. Aside from the bed/sleeping area, there is a separate seating area. The bathroom is also huge, but for the size of the bathroom, the shower area was quite small & outdated. Unfortunately, there is no view from the room. If I opened the windows, I'd just be looking at the hotel next door. Only issue I really had was that the wifi was quite weak. Sometimes, I couldn't even get signal in my room, but fortunately, I had a sim card.
Avala Resort & Villas

The hotel's breathtaking ocean views were simply mesmerizing. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing and being able to enjoy a cup of coffee while overlooking the sparkling blue waters was a dream come true. The room itself was elegantly designed with a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable.
