The Old Wainhouse

Not really impressed by this pub. Really quiet with plain bench tables and seats that looked as though they had come from a church. Food OK but only had main courses. Service OK. Free parking

Very nice place with very friendly and kind, helpful staff. Food was very nice and a good range of vegan food (mainly needed dairy and red meat free) we had struggled to find anywhere in Bude that had much option or had any spaces all week so as we passed the Wainhouse inn we thought we’d check and discovered a lovely spot to eat. We now know this is a spot we can return to more often and find something suitable for everyone. Trying to accommodate for full carnivore and vegan at the same location isn’t easy for us but this spot has both options. An interesting little pub/restaurant lots of stuff to look at around the bar.

Cornish summer one day stay I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming pub, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Very accommodating. Clean and tidy room and bathroom. All the facilities you needed. Food lovely and staff friendly.
