Cortile Hotel - Adults Only

There are some great things about this hotel and there are some bad things about this hotel. The staff is EXCELLENT and they have a GREAT pool area. The breakfast is great and the location is perfect!!! The bad thing was that the hotel did not have an AC . I admit it was winter but no AC so I was a bit hot. You have to open the window to make the room cool down. I got a deluxe room but the view not nice. I got to stare at some steel chimneys with a slight view in the far distance of the main cathedral. The carpets were also kind of dirty and I think the hotel should have someone look at the room before giving them to clients. They need to do a better job of cleaning the floors and the carpets. I would stay there again but drop them a note and tell them to look at the room before giving it to me. Another to be aware of this is an ADULTS ONLY hotel. I like kids but I like having adults only too. The hotel has a good vibe and aI had a good time there. The hotel just needs to work on refining their cleaning practices!!! Great pool!! I was pleased except to for the carpet dust. I will say that when I complained about it was fixed the next day!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cortile. Extremely helpful reception staff. Lovely spacious rooms with coffee making machine. Breakfast choice was excellent & varied from day to day. Roof top pool & bar was lovely & a very welcome break after a day sightseeing. Beautiful views over the city from the terrace Particular mention to the girl at the bar who was so friendly & made delicious cocktails. Great location & lovely restaurant a couple of minutes walk away- The Sophie Restaurant & also Show Rum bar , nearby.

This is a charming hotel on a anonymous street, convenient to shops, restaurants, sights and subways, not far from the Opera House and the non-stop shopping opportunities. The hotel is modern in construction and decor, with comfortably sized rooms. Two people can enjoy this room without tripping over each other. Most of the rooms face a quiet interior courtyard. There's a small closet, dresser drawers, refrigerator and table, with ample lighting. The Bathrooms are surrounded by glass walls - an unusual feature - but there are curtains to provide privacy. The Ground Floor is both lounge and Breakfast Area. The rooftop indoor pool is a treat, with an outdoor terrace and city views. The perfect place to relax after too much sightseeing. The breakfast menus varies from day to day with an excellent selection of baked goods, fresh vegetables, hot dishes and coffee, tea and juices. The lobby coffee maker is available 24/7. The staff were accommodating, helpful with directions and welcoming. This was a perfect place for us to stay during our first visit to Budapest.

This was a super hotel. Great location on the Pest side, a few minutes walk from Basilica, Opera House, Ferris Wheel, etc. We were welcomed by Adam who gave us the info on everything we needed to know whilst he booked us in, made us refreshments after our journey from UK, and answered our questions. A great fist introduction to the hotel. Our room was a flora style and really clean, quiet, comfy. Breakfast had everything for everyone, Lucy who worked service most mornings always greeted us with a smile and was really helpful when we had a question or two. The pool area was nice and relaxed and we had the pool to ourselves on a few occasions. Useful things to know: you have a coffee machine in your room but as you catch the lift to your room there are a couple high grade bean to cup machines and I found it worth making a Lungo to take up with me. Also, they put left over pastries and cake from breakfast there as well which were welcomed after much walking. A really great find of a hotel, enjoy!
