Hotels near H13 Kultpont, Budapest

Beautiful hotel downstairs, but rooms are very tired, they are not as bright and vibrant as on the website. Our room on the 4th floor had no pictures on the walls and lacked the basic items. You could also hear the upstairs guests which was very annoying at 4am! The bathroom was also very dated. The Balcony was a lovely feature in the room. We asked for an iron only to be told there was an ironing room on the ground floor, this was really inconvenient. We went for lunch at the bar which was awful, my burger was rock hard and took ages to come and they only replaced it with the same thing. The location is great if you are heading out into the city. It does the job for a city break hotel.

The hotel is not worthy of 4 stars at all. The standard room is already ruined: the door to the bathroom is sagging and may soon fall, the doorframes are broken from below, the walls are stained in places, the sofa is also not the first freshness. A standard room with one bed is 2 single beds placed side by side, covered with one sheet. Only the beds are on wheels and move apart, so there is a problem if you sleep together, only in your own half. No water, only in the minibar for money. Breakfast is buffet, but it’s the same every day, and if you stay for a long time it can get boring. So I give the hotel a maximum of 2-3 stars. There is no kettle in the room, it turns out you have to ask for it at the reception.

Stayed 5 nights for a conference with 3 other colleagues. Quaint hotel that looks its age. Had very friendly and helpful staff handling check in/out. Had taken a suite, but it was rather small. Main door opened into an anteroom with 2 internal doors - 1 of which led into bedroom (just enough space for a double bed with 2 small side tables). The other door led into a small living room (space for dressing table, couch, TV, and a small round table with a chair). Bathroom is a little dim. Breakfast buffet had standard ham and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, fruits - repeated daily. Noticed the staff change the cutlery after each dinner, but the placemats on the table is not changed. Location is excellent with nearby train and bus station leading to all major attractions. Also have supermarkets nearby.

Currently here at the moment and tbh I’m disappointed! Not like the reviews say. It’s a good 45 min walk to the centre of Budepest. The breakfast is lack lustre at most! Luke warm hot drinks, only one side of the toaster works and very basic buffet. Rooms have no tv, or hairdryers! The amenities it says are here simply aren’t, rooftop bar closed, pasta shop never open, spar next door is very limited hours and the staff are rude. If your wanting somewhere to stay with things around it don’t stay here it feels like your in the middle of no where. Nothing much around it so do expect to be walking quite a way to get to anything. I comply understand it’s geared towards student but even these must be bored to tears with the lack of amenities around the hotel, not even anywhere to grab a bite to eat within a good 10 min walk. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not On a plus note the reception staff are lovely

Our daughter booked us this hotel as part of a 3 night trip to Budapest as a Christmas gift. After visiting Budapest herself, she thought we’d love it so booked us the trip. I don’t normally write reviews, but I thought the hotel had been served an injustice with lots of the other reviews we’d read. We’d read lots that said it was in an awful and unsafe area. The hotel is on a side street, in a city away from the centre, no different to any side street in a city we’d seen before. We saw one homeless person in a doorway, and sometimes people gathered chatting outside the Spar shop at the top of the road, and the other shops…not much of a problem. We didn’t feel unsafe or find the street to be noisy. You are a little bit out of the centre, but the bus stop and metro are conveniently located just around the corner. We used the bus which was very cheap, or free, as sometimes we were just waved on. Once inside our room we heard very little noise, from within the hotel itself, or from the road outside…only the occasional siren. The towels and sheet’s were good, and the room clean, pillows also nice quality and extras in the wardrobe. Room a comfortable temperature. The beds are low to the ground, and the mattresses firmer than we are used to, but after a 12 hour day sightseeing, and a few cocktails/beers we slept reasonably well. Little ******s with the room, a kettle with tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice for a morning cuppa before heading out. There is a small bar in the reception area where you could get coffee though, and plenty of cafes on the main street. The hairdryer overheated quite quickly and cut out. But only minor issues. The staff were not particularly chatty (us Brits love a chat!) however, helpful and courteous when needed. All in all a good stay and a good base to explore…what do you do from a hotel room? For us to sleep and shower 🤷🏻‍♀️ Budapest is an amazing city, so much to see and do, we absolutely loved exploring, enjoy!

Sometime people who write reviews are not objective and some others they are simply guilty. Well, while I was thinking to have been ignored, the staff of this hotel was working silently for me in the back stage. So that, first of all: THANKS A LOT TO EVERYONE. I apologize for my fault. I’m grateful for your promptness in sending to my home a stuff forgotten at the hotel. Coming to the experience, once upon a time…a way to manage hospitality. Here the hospitality is full of care. The hotel is perfectly located, a few walk from Chains Bridge , tram train and Budapest Parliament. When you get in you are enraptured by the stunning, lustful lobby and by the aroma on the air. We stay in a suite, which has all the amenities you need and a touch of elegance you do not find everywhere. The staff is all kind and helpful, starting from the valet Parker, the Concierge team, the Person who brings your luggage. Every need is considered with professionalism, respect and care. A special mention to the breakfast: you’ll find a right variety of international suggestions. What is it important to point out is the freshness and the quality of the food. In this case too, only few times the food quality related to a top rated hotel respect the expectation. Here the reality went over expectation. Finally, we can say to have been stayed at our home because each time we reach the hotel it was like we have been living there. Many thanks for the special delights founded into the room to celebrate my wife’s special occasion. This hotel suited us. Right from the start we received good welcome from reception and throughout the stay they were cheerful, always acknowledged us when we came in and out and were happy to call us taxis. The place was very clean. Breakfast met all our needs: selection of cheeses/salami/ham, musli, fresh fruit cocktail, bowls of fruit, pastries, yogurt, avocado, breads, bacon, sausages, scrambled egg, beans, salad, peppers, coffee/hot chocolate machine was good, fruit juices etc. I really wanted to use the hot tub/sauna but we ran out of time so can’t comment on that. Our apartment itself (703) was very good. We had 2 floors with 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom had a good tv, nice decor, beds and pillows I found super comfy, had a better night sleep than I do at home. Only negative for me was that the bedroom we had never had a wardrobe, the one next door had a good wardrobe and there was also one downstairs if we were really bothered and wished to hang up and run up and down the stairs, but we never had much clothes for the weekend so were happy to stack jumpers under bedside table and I lay my trousers over the top of my case so wasn’t a huge issue for me. Shower was great! Bathroom modern and clean. Had a hairdryer, shower cap and shower gel and body lotion. Lounge area had a sofa, dining table and kitchen area with fridge, microwave, kettle, hob and pans/utensils. They provided a tea towel and dish liquid, few sachets of coffee and tea bags but no sugar or milk cartons. The system they used was if you wanted the bedroom cleaning the next day you had to put a sign on door the evening before (before midnight). If you wanted towels changing then had to let reception know. Big plus for us was that the hotel was very quiet, no outside noise to disturb our sleep and that we had 2 bedrooms so our daughter had her own room and a proper bed. This was in preference to 1 hotel room with a sofa bed which I didn’t want. I thought the cost was good. Only other comment is that the hotel is a little out of the centre which we knew when we booked, but chose the hotel based on cost, having the 2 bedrooms and a lounge rather than all in a hotel room, good reviews and the fact that it was quiet as wasn’t in the city centre. There was option to use the nearby public transport but we were happy to walk, or called a taxi when we needed to. Overall I was really happy with the stay.

The Clark Hotel is located at Buda, which's very close to the cable car station of the Castle. It's also approachable for other sightseeing places in Buda. However, there's maintenance work nearby, so that the view from the room is not perfect. The check-in process is quite fast and efficient. Overall, the staff are friendly, except few cleaners who seem to be very cool and ignorant. I like the design of the Hotel which's very modern and posh. My room is on the 7th floor where there's a big balcony. If you have friends coming in the evening, all of you could enjoy the stunning night view of the City. The room is quite spacious that you have enough space for enjoying. Indeed, there're many other hotels choices for you to decide, although the Clark is obviously an ideal one.

The hotel locates at a very excellent location. Many main attraction points around it. The restaurant for breakfast buffet has a very good view. ALL the staff of the front desk is very helpful and nice. I arrive on the morning and they help to check the availability of the room. They allow the customer to have early check in early when the availability of the room is OK. Everything of the hotel is good. I recommend other people to stay at this hotel when they come to Budapest. I will stay again in Hilton Budapest when I visit there again.

We booked this with Jet2 City Breaks and the picture of the room did look so much better! The room was very basic. There was no tea/coffee making facilities and no mini bar. There was a safe and a hairdryer. You were only given one towel each and one floor towel - no face towels! The room was very warm and we had to leave the window open all the time...The reception area was very nice though and we used the breakfast buffet which did have a fair selection of hot and cold food. Staff were friendly. We found that we were on the wrong side of the river for nightlife and shopping and we kept having to get trams or use the underground to get to the other side as the bridge nearest to us (Liberty Bridge) was closed to pedestrians. It was in a very quiet neighbourhood so no noise at night. We loved Budapest but we were not impressed with the hotel and location.
