The hotel is really lovely, fantastic outdoor seating by the river, rooms well equipped, staff extremely attentive, we had 2 early starts & we were made breakfast boxes to take with us, would definitely book again

Very clean , tea/ coffee making facilities in room with added thoughtful touches of biscuits and soft drinks.
Delicious breakfast included .
Good restaurant on site . Lovely garden to sit and have a drink with views.
Very helpful staff . Could park across the toad when hotel car park full.
Old building set on a fairly busy road , so our room had traffic noise , as windows not double glazed . Would request room at rear next time.
15mins drive to Ludlow which is lovely for walks , castle , art galleries , shops , cafes etc

Great overnight break
Breakfast was brilliant very fresh and tasty. Would have liked proper coffee rather than filter but minor quibble. Toast was fab proper thick wedges of tasty bread.
We ate in the bar and they kindly accommodated us even though they were fully booked. Great nights sleep too, very comfy bed. All staff were great, polite and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again if in the area.

Rooms are a bit shabby
Hotel accommodation is rather tired and worn. Early booking request for a quiet room was not acknowledged, and room fronted a busy road.

Luxury in Leintwardine
The only room left was a small double but it was perfectly adequate for 2 people for one night. The room is tastefully decorated with a large bathroom with a shower over the bath. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.
The evening meal was excellent which we took out on the terrace overlooking the river and meadows.
The breakfast was very good too although the smoked haddock was not available.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay with good food and great service in an idyllic part of the world. This wasn't my first time staying here and hopefully it won't be the last.

Highly recommended
Really enjoyed our stay and were able to sit outside in the sunshine by the river with a pre-dinner drink. The food was excellent well above usual pub grub. Will definitely stay again.
