The food was delicious. The chef deserves much praise. However, the property appeared somewhat worn and could benefit from some care and attention in the common areas; the bar chairs look dated, and the carpets could be upgraded. The staff was wonderful.

Good for an overnight stay. Very comfortable bed and cooked breakfast was great. The building was cold and it was difficult to get warm. Would have liked the hot water to be hotter.

Old mill hotel
Room cold even with heating on. Needs a lot of decor work done. Poor water pressure in shower. Lovely staff. Peaceful and quiet. Good value.

Flying visit!!!
A very (very!) short visit - booking in was very easy, room was clean and comfy, biggest bath I’ve ever seen, powerful shower (if a little noisy!!)
Sadly I was out working, so arrived back at midnight, and out again before breakfast, so can’t comment on the food !
