I had a very lovely one night stay here. The room was comfortable with a great view of the countryside. While service at the restaurant was slow, the food was incredible including the goat cheese starter, burger, and Eton Mess. There is a very nice terrace, and the inside of the restaurant has a great color scheme and is very cozy. I didn't have a car and was able to walk to the places I wanted to see in the area including Buckfast Abbey, Holy Trinity Church, and the otter sanctuary. Would love to stay here again!

We were looking for somewhere to eat in the Ashburton/Buckfastleigh area and did the usual 'best places' google search. The Mill didn't appear and we only found it by accident when we saw the sign by the road! So glad we did. It was a Saturday night and didn't expect to get a table but happily there was one for us. The meal was absolutely delicious, washed down with an excellent wine, and rounded off with my favourite desert of profiteroles, (which you don't often find on menus these days). The staff, decor and atmosphere were lovely so we had a lovely evening. Will also consider returning to stay in the future. Thank you all, we'll be back.

We had a meal this evening in the restaurant. My chicken and chorizo tagliatelle was superb as was the food of the other diners.

We had dinner here in the quiet of an alcove apart from the main restaurant, with excellent service and great cuisine. Whitebait was a great starter, steak was cooked to perfection and the fish dishes were consumed with gusto.

We ate in the restaurant but the inn does have rooms. The staff were welcoming & polite but the food was delicious and we had some local rose wine. We chose the whole sole which was cooked to perfection and the pavlova. Rural setting with a garden.

Truly excellent food, we had our evening meal in the restaurant, we did not stay here, but tripadviser will not let me do just a review of the restaurant. My wife had a lovely crispy haddock and chips, I had the plumpest moule mariniere, with crunchy garlic bread and wonderful chips.

Absolutely lovely ! The staff was helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was great. I recommend the Cheesy Chips. The rooms were beautiful. After a day of sightseeing the soaker tub was the perfect end of the day !!! The Abbey is a must see.

We had a lovely one night stay in Mill Leat, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room, The decor throughout the hotel is superb, we had a lovely meal everything was good, it's a lovely place to sit out in the sun, while everything was a amazing a few small things could do with addressing the mugs in our room did not fit the saucers, we noticed outside a few bits could do with tidying up like the cement mixer and a few other odd bits outside, they are very minor things, we would most definitely stay again, we hope you win the Muddy Stilettos, keep up the good work
