Lovely Place to Stay
Lovely Place to Stay. Nicely decorated, great bathroom, cosy and quiet, very comfortable. Great staff, great location. Plenty of parking.

The barstaff are welcoming and cheerful food is nice and always served at a good standard good price the beer garden is well placed got a fruity machine quick service very easy parking pet friendly rooms are very nice and situated on the edge of dartmoor next to the river

We stayed there, twice in May. Each time for two nights in room 18. The hotel and the room were spotless. The bathroom positively gleamed. The food was excellent. The breakfast was 11/10, served by Nicole and cooked by Matthew. Perfect We’re going back again in June. If you drive past it from A38, and are looking for somewhere for a comfort stop or to stay. Turn around and go into the Dartbridge Inn. You won’t be disappointed

We were a big party having a celebration meal. Sean was brilliant, attentive, friendly and accommodating. We did not feel rushed at all, time given between courses. A perfect day for us all. The food was lovely, everyone was pleased. Thank you to all the staff for making our day special.

6 of us for Sunday lunch, only 3 meals were served ( waiters mistake ) The 3 served meals went back to kitchen, eventually all 6 meals were served including the original 3 that had been set under the hotlights for another 25 mins. My beef (served pink on the menu) was well done , dry and tough Will not be returning EVER. SCORE 15/100

We had their so called superior room, (no. 18) it was very dark and I had to stand on chair to close the blind on the dorma window. H&S? The tv did not work. So much for superior! I booked online directly where a 20% off the restaurant bill was promised. When asked to utilise this I was told I had to show proof of the email I was sent. I was not sent an email. The dinner bill was given to us which was incorrect. When challenged they amended it and also then gave us the 20% discount more out of embarrassment I believe than adhering to their promises. Website states breakfast from 7, it was actually 7.30 which is annoying when en earlier start is expected. Why don’t they just change the website! Tip for others - look elsewhere.

Lovely location near River Dart, ideal for Buckfast Abbey and South Devon Railway. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were lovely and attentive and service was great. Food was homemade, hot and delicious. Enjoyed our two day relaxing break. Only downside was traffic noise from being situated on main road, but all in all a nice getaway.

I was very impressed by the service and food. Would definitely recommend and visit again it also had very nice facilities as well as very nice staff it is top quality food would highly recommend the rosemary and sea salt fries. It is a solid five stars from me.
