Had a lovely meal here on Tuesday. Had the beef pie and it’s was so nice, the gravy was really tasty and the guy got us some extra now fuss. Very good service and the guy serving us was so helpful, really nice coffee and dessert for after. Will be back soon.

Nice place to stay
The food was lovely and the bar and restaurant were nice. Breakfasts were really nice and all staff were friendly and helpful.
The only drawback was the road noise at night.

Not impressed
The walls were paper thin. The road noise was loud. There were quite a few dogs even though your overview said pets weren’t allowed. They need to improve the lighting to the overflow car park. The staff were really friendly though.

We booked Christmas dinner for Christmas day. We arrived early but was shown straight to our table and served drinks . The atmosphere was very friendly with tables around us . We had a excellent 3 course meal joking with the two people who served us Ash and Ronan well done to you all. The food was served promptly and hot and nothing was a problem for all the staff. At no time did we feel pressured to eat our meal fast. We had a relaxing beautiful Christmas dinner. Being local to the area we have often stopped there on the off chance and the staff always made us welcome. This is the second year we have had Christmas dinner and probably won't be our last. Thanks to everyone for making our day .special

Weve stayed here numerous times & enjoyed it but this visit i feel will be our last. Whilst the staff were pleasant service in the restaurant was poor on both nights. The usual ambiance was non existant. Had to ask for advertised salad dressing on 3 different occasions. Staff didnt seem aware that if we booked through them we were entitled to 20% off meals. Very noisy with children staying & running up & down the corridoors. In fact on the first morning we ate breakfast to the sounds of children jumping up & down on the floor above. Didnt bother with the breakfast the 2nd morning & left at 4.30am. Sad to say our worst experience there. Definately wont be returning. Gone downhill & all the staff have changed

Although we booked well in advance for a double room, we were given a twin bed room and they could not change us. The room was so small you could only stand in half of it due to the sloping roof. There was mold around the windows and the blind was so dilapidated that it was hard to adjust. The floors were beyond creaky. The inn stated that it was ******* that booked the twin beds and it wasn't the first time. Our friends who booked at the same time had a much superior room which was larger, had lovely drapes and a much larger bathroom. This is not the first time ******* booked us in a inferior room from what we requested. We had to have our room changed when we went to Nova Scotia through *******. We would like someone from ******* to contact us as we are not happy.
