Very happy with this hotel. Easy self check in, good location in the Old Town, very helpful manager (Cristian) who I met briefly. He also responded very promptly on WhatsApp to several questions and gave advice when I asked. Room comfortable and clean, on 2nd floor (I think all the rooms are upstairs, on 1st, 2nd or 3rd floors) but there's no lift - I think help is available for carrying luggage if you ask in advance. Location is in a very busy, lively and noisy area especially at night (Friday/Saturday until around 4am!), but with the window closed the double glazing and extra soundproofing sliding screen worked very well, although I used earplugs too to get a good night's sleep, and would recommend this. Air-conditioning unit very effective and quiet. Shower good. Limited quantities of soap/shower gel/shampoo provided (sachets) but room made up daily and more available on request. A bottle of water was provided each day. Plenty of power sockets and decent amount of clothes storage. No restaurant or bar but plenty in the immediate surroundings. I stayed for 6 nights and the hotel is an excellent location for exploring Bucharest- a fascinating city. Thank you Christian for a great stay!

Hotel staff was helpful. Breakfast was great There is a small convenience store next to the hotel that opens until 12 midnight. However, wifi was not working on rooms in the second floor of the hotel for the entire day. Wi-Fi was fine on ground floor, and 3rd to 5h floors. Level 2 seems to be under construction or having an industrial look compared to other floors. Do take a look at the photos and see for yourself

I had the pleasure to experience the Hilton Doubletree Unirii Square in Bucharest as one of my very first hotel experience in Romania. The purpose was business combined with a surprise anniversary for my parents. At the check in weirdly enough my Maestro card did not work, however, Ana was very understanding and she even accommodated both rooms (my parents and I) with the best rooms in the hotel (personally a higher floor would be cool next time but I`m just picky that way). On my request and discretion, she also sent a bottle of house wine as a gift for my parents. Unfortunately, no cookies due to Covid19 regulations. :( The following day, the Government change some COVID19 rules applied upon restaurants and F&B outlets, therefore even though we were promised to have a full breakfast choice, to our shock we were given a quick-fix of a breakfast with all the necessities made by one other staff, Ionut. Being alone and having to fix everything, I expressed my preference for breakfast and my loyalty towards the company and I asked if it would be possible to make the breakfast a bit more complete by adding the juices and sweets from the mini-bar. Ionut being very friendly and understanding my point of view agreed to make our breakfast more enjoyable and I personally felt appreciated for my loyalty. With all the good experience, I decided to extend my stay. This procedure was hefty but Ionut stood by my side and helped me with all the information he knew and was as patient as humanly possible. Guess it was just a setting in my phone system. As my room was extended, the lovely ladies from housekeeping were as efficient and proficient as I would expect from a Hilton property. On our last day, my family and I encountered 2 lovely ladies (one at the bar which I forgot to ask her name and Cristina - from what I depict I think she might have been the Front Desk manager). These lovely ladies made our departure very pleasant and Cristina assured me that all is well and ready for my check-out (payment, rooms, departure time) - to my awe she surprised me with the minibar complimentary ( snacks and soft drinks) and I personally could not have been more happy! It was a good snack on the road, and up until this moment I am still munching on some of the (sweet) memories! Thank you once more guys, next time I come to Romania, expect my return to this property! All the best! Stay safe! Alex

This hotel is a little tricky. Do not book the regular rooms because they are tired and the beds look soggy and used. They need to do a little bit of work on the interior in the carpets on the outside of the rooms. Only stay in the suites are and above cuz they're great. But the superior room and the regular room are not to my liking and a little depressing. But I would stay this hotel anytime I was in Bucharest but only in the sweets and the studios not in the regular tired looking hotel rooms. One of the major benefits of this hotel/aparte hotel is that it has a fantastic hot tub/ jacuzzi and it is right next door in the gym all you have to do is sign in. I love the hot tub and I love the pool especially in mid-December when everything was freezing. I would stay here anytime I visited Bucharest. The food in the restaurant is okay relatively okay value for the money and service is good. Also the women at the front desk are very helpful and accommodating.

The hotel is outside the old town. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. The hotel is 10 meters away from the supermarket. The bus ticketing point is at the hotel entrance. The WIFI signal is good. The room layout is antique. There are many taxis at the door. It is convenient for taxis. Value, recommended.
