New Era Hotel is a clean and cozy hotel in the heart of downtown.
Breakfast is good but can be much better as they name themselves a 4 star hotel.
The only negative item in this hotel in my point of view was that they put two bottles of water for the first day, and did not recharge them for the other days which was strange for a 4 star hotel in fact.

Right in the old town area. It's noisy at night but convenient for going to bars. To be precise, it feels like living in a bar.

The hotel is at a very good location in old town. Just walking distance up to about 30 minutes in all directions are all the beautiful historic buildings you need to see. Yes it is going to be loud because it’s on the street with pubs and clubs but I didn’t mind the noise so much. Staff were very kind and helpful. Even helped me book a car for a discounted rate compared to what I would pay hailing a cab myself. The hotel is right next to Old City restaurant and the food is nice there. Keep in mind this is on a pedestrian street so cars can’t drop you to the hotel door. So if you have luggage just remember it’s about a five minutes walk from the Main Street where you get dropped off.

They waited for me until after midnight. The room was very clean and the service was great. Highly recommended if you want to experience the nightlife fully. Everything you need is nearby.

Extremely loud noise from discos around
Horrible stay as the street is full of extremely loud discos that interfere with the sleep. I don´t understand how a hotel can be in such a loud area. I wouldn´t recommend at all.

Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per un fine settimana. Ottima la posizione (nel cuore della Old Town di Bucarest) che permette di raggiungere a piedi le principali attrazioni da visitare. Personale attento e disponibile in particolare il dottor Florin Tudor, pronto a dare utili consigli e a risolvere la minima difficoltà. Pulita, confortevole e profumata la camera. Ampia la scelta a colazione forse un po' troppo concentrata sul salato, ma dipende dalle abitudini locali. L'unico neo da segnalare è la rumorosità della zona il venerdì sera e notte, quando tantissima gente si riversa nei locali di Lipscani. Un plauso particolare al servizio transfert dall'aeroporto all' hotel. Il nostro driver Alex è stato così bravo che lo abbiamo richiesto anche per il ritorno.
