We had a wonderful stay, during our visit to ride The Polar Express! The Inn is very conveniently located for this experience, and The Hummingbird Room was perfect for the three of us. The breakfast was delicious, and we had many choices. There are lots of steps for some rooms, so be sure to ask, if this is a concern.

This Inn is a treasure. Friendly and attentive staff, large clean rooms, comfy beds, landscaped grounds with different sitting areas and a dining room where a delicious breakfast is served every morning and where you can gather throughout the day.

This Inn is just fantastic! They let us cook our trout that we caught at Cooper Creek Farm and we had s’mores at the fire pit. They let us play games at night in the common area and we got great use out of the corn hole and hammock. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They provided River towels for when we went to Deep Creek and make an amazing breakfast!

McKinley Edwards was excellent. The facility was well kept, cozy, and inviting. The staff treated us like family. It’s located close to town but you don’t feel like you’re “in town” when there either. We stayed in the cottage out back which was perfect for our family that needed to spread out a little. We’ll be back.

Had a lovely stay with Marie and John. Their inn was cozy, the breakfasts creative and delicious, and my room was comfortable and very clean. The gardens were delightfully serendipitous and beautiful, all at once. Marie and John went out of their way to be helpful and to make me feel at home and welcomed. Tips about Deep Creek and the visitors center made my vacation. Relaxed and refreshed, I look forward to my return already.

Room that was quaint but up-to-date in this historic small inn. You are truly treated as a special guest. Freshly prepared breakfasts that were delicious in a beautiful dining area. The grounds are unique, well kept and make your surroundings special.

Had enough of stress, hectic pace or overheated cities? We found a wonderful place in Bryson City in the Smokie Mountains to unwind and relax on our Southern journey: The McKinley Inn is a little gem in Bryson City with incredibly friendly hosts. The super cozy rooms are wood-panelled, you don't want to leave the beautiful breakfast room, a small fish pond splashes in the garden, comfortable seats everywhere, there's even a hammock. The breakfast is great, with fresh fruit and homemade egg dishes. The hosts John and Mary are extremely friendly and do everything they can to make you feel at home. They anticipate your every wish and give you tips on how to spend the day in the region. We were provided with everything: hiking poles, binoculars, water bottles, even a book about the special country music in the Smokey Mountains. As a guest, it is very, very rare to experience so much attention. A wonderful place to relax. We want to come back!

My wife and I booked at the inn for our first stay in Bryson City. What a terrific experience! The staff were exceptionally accommodating, and the rustic setting was charming. Each day began with a hot breakfast curated by the on-site chef. The location is very close to downtown shopping and restaurants, and we made a trip out to deep creek to hike the waterfall trail. Highly recommended accommodations!
