It is about 700 meters away from Rennes train station and it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the old town of Rennes. The hotel room is of a decent size, but the facilities are relatively simple, basically there is nothing, and the towels are thin and the hair is washed off. This price is not worth it.

Take care the picture of the hotel is a different building. The area is not great, we felt unsafe.
The hotel inside is fine, the reception staff were excellent.
But we feel very misled by the use of a random photo implying it was the hotel!

On est loin des standards d'un Mercure, chambre marron, moquette et salle de bain hors d'âge. A mon arrivée je demande une chambre au calme et on me donne une sur le côté le plus exposé au bruit ! Bref pour mon prochain déplacement ce sera dans un autre hôtel.

Très moyen salle de bain hors d age . Pas de clim alors qu il faisait 27degres (rse a bon dos pour expliquer que la bonne températureideal doit etre a 19 degres ... ca doit etre pour l hiver parce que l ete ca ne genes pas l hotel qu il fasse trop chaud :) ) je n y retournerai pas

If the size of the room (418) justifies the 4 stars, for the bathroom all the stars disappear Tartar and traces of stools in the toilets :-( (no brush) decrepit earthenware with holes quickly filled in , a shower screen which clearly has accumulated several years of tartar and limescale, a ceiling repainted without sanding and clearly without cleaning, and the shower gel dispenser was empty in short...this room was surely worthy of a 4 star 25 or 30 years ago! Only a kettle and soluble coffee sticks :-( a hearty breakfast..radish and cucumber for breakfast why not..but fresh fruit would have been welcome a very disappointing stay
