Art de Sejour - B&B

We stayed at the Art de Sejour in Brussels after our 7 day cruise to Iceland, Norway, and Rotterdam. The Art de Sejour was the best part of our trip. We were welcomed by Mario, the owner & proprietor. We nicknamed him "Mr. Fabulous" because he truly was. He runs and operates this 4 unit Bed & Breakfast on his own and you would think that he had an entire staff helping him. Everything about the Art de Sejour screamed "classy", from the immaculately maintained building and the fully furnished rooms. Mario was a perfect host, preparing breakfast each morning, including croissants, eggs, ham, fresh squeezed juice, and expresso. Perfect way to start each morning. If you are looking for a gorgeous small boutique bed & breakfast and served by Mr. Fabulous, look no further than Art de Sejour. You won't regret it.

From the time I booked the reservation, almost a year in advance, Mario has been a great communicator. When we arrived that didn’t change, he mapped out some areas for us to visit and provided some suggestions. The accommodations were phenomenal; beautiful, clean, safe, private, quiet and convenient. His breakfasts were exactly what we needed to start our day and his smoothies were so delicious. Cannot rave enough about Art de Sejour and Mario. Book here and you won’t regret it.

Other reviews don't lie. The owner Mario has created a great space. Rooms are very clean and modern and Mario provides a cooked to order breakfast. The location was excellent for exploring the historical area of Brussels. We would stay here again on a return trip to Brussels.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Art De Sejour and I cannot speak more highly of our stay. Brussels was our first stop on a month-long European adventure, and I doubt any of our other accommodations will come close to this experience. Firstly, the location is excellent. Not right in the noise and hustle and bustle of the city centre, but close enough that everything is accessible within a 10-15 min walk, including the central train station. Secondly, the accommodation is superb. Mario has done a tremendous job in creating the perfect place for travellers, where absolutely nothing has been overlooked. I felt just as comfortable as if I was in my own home. The shower was wonderful, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was immaculately clean. All of the extra touches were there - coffee machine, fridge with free drinks, quality Loccitane toiletries just to name a few. Lastly, Mario the wonderful owner made our stay even more special. He provides you with a map and advice upon arrival, and every morning fuels you for your day ahead with freshly made croissants, breads, cut fruit, yogurt, granola, choice of cooked eggs (which he personally prepares for you), deli meat, smoothie shots, coffees etc. I have written and read many reviews over the years, and people often say they would be happy to return. This is the first time I have ever thought I would never even consider looking at alternative options if I am lucky enough to visit Brussels again. I truly hope I have the opportunity to return in the future! And Mario, it goes without saying we would love to see your stunningly handsome and young face again!!!

What a nice place to stay in downtown Brussels, the rooms are the whole floor. The bathroom is modern with a powerful shower. The bed was very comfortable. The internet speed was more than sufficient to stream Netflix. You are literally 2 minute walk to the subway. Mario greeted us provided a local map which he highlighted key points. The provided breakfast was all inclusive, we preferred the yogurt and fruit and that was awesome. What a nice place to stay. It was fully booked while we’re there and I can see why.

This is a great option for your stay in Brussels. The host was awesome, a great place to relax after getting to know the city, is very accesible to public transportation and it is conveniently walking distance from many landmarks.
