We paid for a room at the hotel du congres, but they put us in the building opposite. The room was therefore not the one we had booked, the building was quite old and not entirely welcoming as there was a strong smell of smoke.

U just need 15 minutes to get to the city center and there is a metro station 2 min away from the hotel. Their rooms are clean but very noisy. I hear everyone that passes through the floor and everyone who was on the floor above me. That interrupted my sleep.

The room is not big, it is a top floor loft. The soundproofing is poor. No water is provided. The transportation nearby is also very convenient, and the supermarket is not far away. But the elevator is often broken, and I have never taken it many times. I always climb the stairs.

The top floor room cannot open the window, there is no kettle, and you cannot enjoy the same facilities and services as others for the same price. The room I was assigned is old and there is no elevator. It is too stressful to move the boxes up and down the narrow and old stairs.
