The view is very good and the service is okay. The room is a bit cold, although the heating is turned on to the maximum, maybe because of the attic. You can watch the stars at night💫

Just had a 3 night stay with friends. Fantastic hotel with breath taking views over Lake Como. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and the restaurant food was superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to use the funicular to get up and down to the hotel from Como but the views make it worthwhile.

I've visited this hotel 3 times since 2021, once to have a drink and twice to eat. The first thing to say is the views are phenomenal. A camera won't do it justice, but it's not important – just appreciate it with your eyes. Being a short walk from the funicular railway station (literally under 2 minutes), it's a great please to stop off for refreshments. They have an outdoor area, and also an indoor area with panoramic views. The last time I went was in December and my partner and I ordered the same dish, it was kind of like braised beef. I was hesitant to try it, but oh boy what a choice! One of the best meals I've ever had, hands down 10/10. What made it even better was the waitress, who had humour, joked with us, explained what we were eating and really took care of me because I'm allergic to nuts. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I can't understand the negative reviews about the service here. Visited 3 times, no complaints. Keep doing what you're doing Bellavista!

Zimmer und Hotel sind ok. Frühstück ist nicht abwechslungsreich und wenig. Stühle sehr unbequem. Da es hoch oben auf dem Berg liegt und die Gassen sehr eng, muss man es mögen da täglich zu fahren. Como ist auch keine sehr schöne Stadt. Es ist sehr voll so das man Stunden am Schiff steht und dann ist die Fahrt die man machen will ausgebucht. Aber zum Ausruhen für ein paar Tage ist das Hotel gut. Alle sind sehr freundlich. Man sollte allerdings gut Englisch oder Italienisch sprechen.

Hôtel vieillot mais propre et bien entretenu ; jolie vue sur Côme et situation très commode à proximité immédiate du funiculaire (rapide et très pratique pour descendre à Côme, car l'accès par la route est long et sportif - ruelles à double sens mais larges pour un seul véhicule) Beaucoup de points négatifs : surfaces petites pour des tarifs élevés ; accueil froid et expéditif ; personnel, pourtant assez nombreux, totalement inattentif, il faut réclamer pour obtenir quelque chose ; le petit déjeuner relève du mépris pour les clients : tout est déjà disposé sur la table (certainement depuis longtemps ; votre oeuf dur est froid), aucun choix, rien n'est à disposition, mauvaise qualité des produits (jus de fruit insipide, petits pains durs et rassis, ...il a fallu réclamer pour les remplacer) et portion congrue (un petit café, une petite confiture pour deux) ... on respecte ici votre régime ! L'établissement a de sérieux progrès à faire pour être à l'écoute de sa clientèle et à la hauteur de ses tarifs.

Forse siamo stati sfortunati e ci è stata assegnata la camera peggiore, ma era veramente piccola, scomoda e rumorosa . Per aprire una delle finestre è necessario ogni volta spostare il tavolino accostato, più alto del davanzale ! La camera era anche piuttosto calda e, dal momento che non c'è aria condizionata, siamo stati costretti a dormire con le finestre aperte, o almeno a provarci dal momento che le finestre danno sulla strada e tra le chiacchiere dei passanti e le campane della vicina chiesa ( che iniziano a suonare alle 7:00 e poi ogni mezzora) c'è davvero molto rumore! Inoltre dalla finestra entrano anche gli odori della cucina del ristorante dell'hotel. La colazione era accettabile per la categoria dell'hotel , ma poco curata dal personale ( mosche sul pane e moscerini dentro la macedonia...). L'impressione è che la priorità per il personale sia il ristorante e non l'hotel. Segnalo anche che la struttura non ha parcheggi sufficienti per tutti gli ospiti e trovare posto fuori è molto complicato!!

It was so beautiful. Old world style but with everything you’d need.
The view is unbeatable and the location right next to the Funiculare station means you don’t have to worry about how to get up and down the enormous hill.
The staff are so friendly and helpful. It was a joy to stay. Wish we’d stayed longer.
