I don't know how this B&B has so many high ratings! DO NOT get lulled into believing them like we did! First of all, the place is no longer a B&B with an owner living or even present on-site. The owner is elsewhere - who knows where - and communicates by an intercom. There are multiple cameras rigged throughout the place to keep an eye on people. I have stayed in all different types of accommodation of various qualities and around the world and never experienced false advertising like this. The rooms are NOT air-conditioned, despite what is advertised - only the downstairs kitchen and lounge room are. Rooms are cooled by an extremely noisy and dirty tower fan. The TV doesn't work because the licence hasn't been paid. The bathroom was filthy and covered in a variety of pink, yellow and black mould in the shower, which the owner tried to pass off as cleaning product left behind by the cleaner. So our shower either wasn't cleaned before we checked in... Or was covered in pink mould... I don't know which is worse. I raised this issue twice with the owner and finally received an email hours later saying the shower had been cleaned - the mould/"cleaning product" was still visible in the tile grout. The bathroom lacked ventilation in general and the window curtains were also mouldy. There was also a general lack of cleaning throughout the room - stained fabric chairs, boot prints on the plaster wall where our room had obviously been added/portioned off at a later date. There's only no information about the staircase being extremely steep and narrow - not an issue for us but again, something that should definitely be mentioned. I would not recommend staying here unless you're desperate.

Great stay. Was contacted via text as soon as we booked. Texts were responded to almost instantly with any queries. Orhan met us when we arrived early and supplied us with a coffee whilst we waited for our room. Rooms were outstanding, clean and tidy.

We visited 24th to 27th November 2023 and we stayed in Room 1 on the 1st floor. The room was great - decor a mix of modern and antique/shabby chic. The bed was a little softer than we are used to (think it may be memory foam?) but very comfy - had a great night's sleep! We were also chuffed as we had booked to come away not realising that the 60th anniversary Doctor Who Special was airing that weekend - luckily a flick thru the channels found BBC1 was set as channel 120 so managed to catch that before heading back out to walk the Winter Glow route (follow the blue street lanterns!) The owners are very accommodating - our booking didn't include breakfast but we were given the option to have this for €15 per person per day and what we got was a lovely continental breakfast - fresh croissants, mini waffles, fruit, yoghurt and toast with as many Nespresso coffees as we could manage! We were also helped with leaving our cases at the hotel on the last day while we explored Bruges. All in all a great little boutique hotel and one I would highly recommend!!

Beautiful B&B, spotlessly clean, cosy and warm. Perfect location and run by very friendly people. We hadn’t booked for breakfast but we managed to squeeze in and it was just what we needed. Would 100% be back again! Thank you.

Breakfast - nothing hot, but sufficient to be full of energy for day walking Bed - comfortable pillows Disliked · Something wrong with address - when I used link from booking com it brought me to the wrong house. Only when i called the owner, they sent me correct address. Be careful with that. Ask address in advance.

I stayed here for three nights on a trip that included various other places in Belgium. I held off writing this review until I had other things to compare it against. The pros : proximity to the city; this B&B is in a nice area, and very close to the city center. There are pubs within a five minute walk, and a little bit further from that is a lovely patisserie where you can get coffee and pastries for breakfast, fresh bread, and they have a lovely lunch. Bruges is very easy to orient yourself to once you walk around a bit. The proprietors were very quick to respond to my emails and texts. And the young woman. ( Ilena? Not sure of the spelling) that was there in the when I checked in and again when I checked out, was very sweet and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. For younger couples, it could be considered romantic. I did peek at rooms on the lower floors that seem nice as well. I did not have breakfast there but it did look nice from what I saw. There was a very fancy espresso machine that you’re welcome to use but I really couldn’t figure it out. There was plenty of hot water for the shower, which was nice. The cons: overpriced for what you would expect. I wouldn’t consider this a B&B per se as the owner was never there. It would’ve been nice to at least meet them. I had a top floor attic room. There are large skylights with no window covering (bright in the morning) and the view out the windows was of a brick wall. The neighbors next-door were installing solar panels so there was a man literally standing outside my window in the morning. And there’s also construction on the street, not the owners fault, but my Taxi couldn’t 300m there, and the noise was horrendous from the construction. Street noise from cars and people walking back, laughing at night, was also quite disruptive as the building is not very soundproof at all. The stairs, leading up to the room are very steep spiral stairs, and the carpeting frayed and spotted. It was difficult to carry my one piece of carry-on luggage up those stairs. While my room was clean it appeared that they used it as storage space. The drawers were full of old Christmas ornaments and the closet had extra pillows and blankets, all thrown in it. The toilet is on the other side of the room from the shower and the sink/shower is in an open figuration where you can see it from the bed. There is also a little ledge in the shower area and also going out the door that is very easy to trip over. And the bathroom towels were definitely in need of replacement as they were very thin. The whole decor of this room seemed to be sort of thrift store type decor. While comfortable , it just looked worn. Also, the TV did not have any kind of channels to it, only Netflix. It would’ve been nice to have a small coffee pot in the room and been able to watch the news in the mornings. I don’t really go on vacation to watch a movie in my room. It just seems that the white queen is a tired queen.

A unique blend of old and new this is a charming B&B in a quiet district of Bruges but within easy walking distance of the main square and all the attractions that Bruges has to offer. Super comfy bed and lovely big shower, with nice touches like chocolate on the pillows and fresh flowers blooming at the windows. Breakfast was super amazing and set us up for the day with Alina/Elina a lovely and gracious host (sorry hope I got the spelling right)! We stayed here for 4 nights and would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Bruges.

A wonderful stay with all that one needs. Friendly hosts, amazing breakfasts and beautiful rooms, spacious and beautifully presented. Our hosts also kindly organised a taxi and takeaway breakfast for our last very early morning. A perfect distance from the centre thus quiet.
