Unfriendly greeting on arrival, we arrived before 3pm and as usual we politely asked was our room ready and were abruptly told check in is 3pm. Maybe the receptionist could perhaps of checked to see if the room was ready before being so abrupt and returning to his mobile phone. Room smelt of stale smoke and had a fan going full blast to hide the smell. We were going to ask for another room but we were only there for one night and after the warm (not) welcome couldn't be bothered with the discussion so opened the window as much as possible to help get rid of the smell. Maybe a mention of this when we checked in would have been favourable. When we had a drink at the bar in the afternoon there was a problem with the card machine so we had to put the drinks on the room tab but when I checked my account £6.50 had come out of my account which no-one could explain why. The bar attendant was a young girl and she dealt with it excellently speaking to her manager and getting it sorted out We had dinner in the restaurant where we found the menu was quite limited however what we had tasted good. The wine list for the rose was not up to date and from what we were told there was only one choice available and had been that way for some time. In the bar area before and after dinner it was really cold and when I spoke to the gentleman behind the bar he said it was because the air con was blowing out cold air and that this was normal. It remained this way until about 22:15 In all it was a bit of a let down, the drive into the hotel through the golf course was beautiful but our relaxed mood was soon removed once we got to reception.

Room and bathroom were big and fairly modern however details like towel rails and toilet roll holder in the bathroom (non-existing) and a full-sized mirror in the bedroom (only a a tiny one) had been overlooked and would have been nice. The bathroom toiletries advertised were a half empty hand wash bottle on the basin and a half empty shower gel bottle in the shower. A private kitchen was also advertised as included, not sure what they meant by private as someone was using it (I didn't), perhaps they just meant people couldn't just walk in from the street and use it. On arrival, room and bathroom weren't overly clean and there was no cleaning at all during my stay. The room was on the main road and the traffic noise went on till very late and started again very early in the morning. Really hard to sleep. An altogether disappointing experience

A very distinctive British-style hotel, Xiaobailou has a long history. The whole environment is very beautiful. You can take a walk in the park during the day. I really like the windows in the main building with the view~ The afternoon tea set is rich and delicious, the restaurant's daily supply of tea, coffee and wine list is also very rich, and the dinner standard is online. Facilities: Disposable slippers are generally not provided. It is best if you can prepare them yourself ~ I changed the room type once in the middle, and the second room was not equipped with a refrigerator. It happens to be the hottest summer in London. The hotel has no air conditioning and relies on a small electric fan to blow the air.😂

Perfect for a quick stay over. Clean and great value for the price. Sara was super helpful and friendly with a warm welcome after a long long drive. I’d recommend for those in need of somewhere fairly basic and affordable. Handy with the services next door for a various food too.

Hotel was easy to get to, cheap overnight parking. Although there was a van that had gotten broken into in the morning which was worrying. The room was generally decent, not the cleanest fee to the room although. The sleep was good and the reception staff were friendly.

The room is clean and hygienic. The facilities are complete. The environment is elegant and quiet. The transportation is convenient. There are bus stops and train stations within a short walk. The service attitude is very good. The boss is very enthusiastic. It's worth a visit.

We arrived in January for a four night stay for my husband‘s birthday but unfortunately he was taken ill when we were out for a meal on our first evening. Fortunately, we managed to get back to the hotel but we ended up not being able to leave the room for several days due to his health. I cannot thank all in the Lion & Key enough for the fantastic support that we were given at a very distressing time. Unfortunately, due to the situation, we were unable to travel back home early but they really went over and above to ensure that we were well looked after and supported in every way. A huge thank you to Giorgio ,Kanti and Steph for their unwavering Kindness and help, not just for my husband, but for me also. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts

Wonderful hotel with excellent location. The room was clean, very comfortable and had great view of the London Stadium. The location was amazing, next to a huge Stratford Shopping Centre and to the subway station with many subway lines. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. KUDO to the Concierge Staff, especially NALEEF, DANIEL, AND ONE OTHER GENTLEMAN (sorry! i forgot his name). My wife got pickpocketed in London. The Concierge staff, especially Naleef, went above and beyond their duty to help us to deal with our distress moments. He advised us to report the theft to the London Police, and also the Concierge staff helped us tremendously to deal with our stolen credit cards. We really appreciated what these amazing staff did for us. Thanks so much to Naleef, Daniel and to all the Concierge staff for making us feel so welcome and for all your unforgettable help during our stay. The world needs more of these people like your Concierge staff. Hyatt should be very proud to have these amazing Concierge staff. We certainly will return to this Hyatt hotel in the future and would highly recommend this Hyatt hotel to anyone!

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was simply amazing! The room was impeccably clean, giving me a cozy and comfortable feeling that made it feel like home. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. The location was convenient, with plenty of nearby attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic experience. Can't wait to go back!
