Serenity Hill Bed and Breakfast

The hosts were extremely personable and accommodating! Breakfast in the morning was so delicious. The room was extremely clean and well stocked even coming with it's own keypad lock to help feel secure even when there is another family staying with you. Not to mention the view of the stars at night is breathtaking. 11/10 would recommend!

False advertising. Horrible customer service. No refund despite conditions being unsuitable for staying. We chose "Serenity" Hill B&B for the advertised bedroom and bath, which featured "luxury linens" and a "bathtub." When we arrived, the place looked incredibly run down. Website pics seem crazy out of date. The room itself was TINY--it's a small room in a house. Though there was a tiny table with two chairs, it was impossible to use them. If they were at all pulled back from the table to sit in, you couldn't open the bathroom (previously a closet) door or get to the bed. The bathroom was unfinished and not at all as advertised. It had no bathtub but rather a tiny shower that looked old and repurposed from an RV. The bed linens were so old that they were covered in hard little pilled balls and there was hair in multiple places. I don't know how anyone could feel comfortable on such sheets. When my husband attempted to talk to the husband/wife owners, the husband was immediately hostile. When He tried to explain the issues with the bathroom and linens, he was defensive, saying, "How would you feel if I came to your house and said it looked like sh1t." (Of course, my husband never said that.) Without even looking at the room, he told my husband that if he didn't like it, he could "take his sh1t and get the h3ll out." At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying there and had no confidence in what would be done to the food we might be served in the morning, so we said that we would not be staying there and would like a refund given the false advertising. Bill said, "I ain't giving you no refund!" We opted to leave and warn others. This is an older couple that might have cared at some point but no longer do and are unreasonable to deal with. SPARE YOURSELF and go stay where you will be treated with respect and honesty.

We made reservations here over nine months ago so we would have a unique place to stay during the 30th Anniversary of the National Corvette Museum celebrations. We were not disappointed. Wonderful people and fabulous food. We will definitely come back again.

Serenity Hill Bed & Breakfast was so quaint and peaceful! Beautiful and interesting decorating everywhere. Many complimentary snacks and drinks were available upon our arrival. Bill and Tina are AWESOME!! You couldn't ask for nicer hosts. AND the breakfast was wonderful! Thanks Bill and Tina, we hope to stop by again.

My wife and I stayed at this B&B for two nights in the mid-February 2024 while visiting Mammoth Cave. It was low season and we were the only guests which was fine with us. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms which was quite adequate for our needs and slept well in the four poster bed. The owners were pleasant and talkative and provided us with a nourishing breakfast as requested. They have feline and canine pets which were unobtrusive and cute. If you have a sweet tooth this is the place for you as there are multiple offerings throughout the living and dining area to sample as desired. Location is good though the listed one mile distance to Mammoth is to the edge of the National Park and it is several more miles to the actual Visitor Center where one can access the cave tours. We did have to make a change in the timetable of our visit which was easily accommodated. We can recommend this establishment and suspect it would have been even better in warmer months when one could sit on the porch and enjoy the view

We had a Reservation and a confirmation Mail over *********** and the owner wrote us a seperate Mail, that they don't have a room for the booked days. They don't have a good solution for us. Had to book another Hotel :-(
