We had the most beautiful time at Mt Hay and are so grateful we got to go. We went to celebrate Stephen, my husbands birthday. Everything was well cared for, the grounds were beautiful and we love the pool, especially the waterfall function. Louise and Anthony were kind and caring people who were quick to respond. We walked through the gardens, enjoyed looking at the Koi and using the swing. We felt very well taken care of and we hope we can go to Mt Hay again. Thank you Louise and Anthony for everything. Louis & Anthony are great hosts and the rooms are exquisite with stunning views. Berry is just a 20 minute drive away and is a charming town which has good food and beautifully kept homes and gardens. Our hosts gave us excellent directions and local knowledge.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Mt Hay Retreat. This accommodation is perfect to relax and get away from it all. The room is spacious, clean, private with the most amazing view. We organised massages and a cheese platter on arrival. Everything was perfect thank you!! Louise & Anthony for being great hosts. We will definitely return again. Nick & Michkayla

This is now my 6th stay at Mt Hay retreat and it never fails to impress. From the warm welcome to the incredibly spacious and relaxing suites, I can't get enough of this oasis to relax and unwind for a short visit when I need to recharge the batteries. I love that the owners provide recommendations of amazing places to visit in the local area to make the trip all the more special, on this occasion we had dinner at South on Albany which was lovely and took a trip out to Bowral to visit the Sir Don Bradman museum. Anthony gave us the great tip to take a different route back to enjoy the varied scenery that the area has to offer and it didn't disappoint. Each day started with a swim in the amazing pool and each night ended with some down time on the balcony watching the world go by before collapsing into the giant bed for a great night of sleep. I will definitely be coming back for a 7th stay at some stage.

never slept so comfortable outside home... very comfy beds, the caretakers Louise and Anthony are amazingly helpful, responsive and caring. the place is very well looked after, clean, fresh relaxing. will definitely go back there and will also tell friends about it

We spent two glorious nights at Mt. Hay Retreat— our only retreat was that we couldn’t stay longer. Check in was seamless, the owners were delightful, and the suite was glorious with the most exquisite views from floor to ceiling. It was difficult for us to leave to go explore the local area — which was also fantastic. We definitely want to make another trip and stay longer next time!

The views over Berry and Shoalhaven area are stunning. The hosts are lovely and this time we stayed in the Escarpment Suite for an even more expansive view. This one has an enormous bath but the most fabulous part is the lap pool with a spa. I also love staying in clean clean places and Mt hay Retreat is impeccably clean.
