Our hosts, Lesley and Steve, welcomed us into their home for a 7 night stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everywhere was clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and some little extra surprises due to our long stay. We cannot thank them enough for making our holiday just that little bit more special. Highly recommended.

I stayed for one night at The Bridges and wish I had stayed longer. The Bridges is a delightful B&B and Lesley and Steve are very welcoming hosts. The house is beautifully decorated and feels homely and my room was perfect, smelt lovely and had everything you could wish for: a very comfortable bed and pillows, crisp clean bedding, a variety of teas, biscuits, chocolate and bottles of water. I always look forward to breakfast and it did not disappoint. Everything is beautifully laid out and there is lovely music in the background. There is enough to set you up for the rest of the day: fresh fruit, fresh juices, cereals and dried fruit, fresh toasts and preserves and a lovely cooked breakfast. Breakfast is served in Lesley and Steve’s beautiful dining room. The Bridges is a great base to explore Northumberland and the perfect place to come back to after a busy day. Your hosts will give you recommendations of what to do and where to eat. I highly recommend it.

Perfect stay. Such welcoming hosts. Property was easy to find, so beautifully decorated, and very quiet. Our room, like the whole property, was pristine. So many thoughtful touches, like the torch next to the bed in case you use the bathroom in the night. Plenty of hot water for the shower and a really comfy bed. And breakfast - vegan, gluten, and normal options, freshly cooked, delicious. Will definitely stay again. Thank you
