The Courthouse Bed & Breakfast

We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning and end of our holiday. Very comfortable accommodation. We stayed in a lovely upstairs room with a balcony where we could sit overlooking the glorious swimming pool (which was lovely to swim in). Both bath and beach towels are provided. The breakfast (included) in the communal eating area offered fresh and tinned fruit, yoghurt, several cereals/muesli to choose from, barista coffee, tea, various juices, danishes, croissants, several kinds of bread and crumpets to toast with a variety of spreads. Walking distance to Chinatown where there are many restaurants, small shops, supermarket, bottle shop and the pub. It was lovely and quiet and the beds very comfortable. Air conditioner and ceiling fan in our room and we could have fresh air in the room if we wanted to. One negative; the taps on the sink were quite stiff and hard to turn on and off.

The B&B is just a short walk from Chinatown (the town centre) and is quiet. It is open and spacious and our room was on the ground floor. It has a swimming pool and separate cabana for lazing around. Our bedroom was huge and had an excellent king size bed and the shower was hot. A continental breakfast was served in the common area. They delivered us to the airport on departure

This is a delightful B&B, I thoroughly enjoyed my peaceful and quiet stay here (on two occasions). This is not a resort and that it was I enjoyed the most about my stay. The B&B is a casual 5 minute walk from town. The rooms are clean and fresh, the beds & pillows are comfy, the continental breakfast is tasty and more than adequate. Kim & Geoff are lovely hosts and are always available to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are warm and welcoming. I would certainly recommend staying here!

Overall this is a relaxing place to stay. It is not to far to walk to the town and the weekend markets are across the road. The pool is relaxing to unwind by. The couple running the place were very helpful including taking us to the airport for the rental car.

Lovely comfortable room with a comfy bed. Hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty. Not far to walk to most eateries. Host kindly transferred us to our departure place for our cruise. The only thing that troubled us was the steep wooden staircase to our room. Most rooms are upstairs. Otherwise a very pleasant place.

A wonderful, very large old-style homestead located very centrally for all the attractions one may wish to indulge in. Greeted very warmly by Kim and Geoff as well as the manageress who throughout the entire four days staying there ensured a wonderful memorable time. Plenty of local and tourist information was available in both the reception area and within the guest room, which also had an excellent Guest Compendium. The guest room allocated to us was large, containing a very large comfortable bed, table, chairs and flat screen television which regrettably could only be viewed by sitting on the bed. Being an upstairs corner room meant it had a wonderful wrap around balcony. Large ensuite contained a fantastic shower. However, a little more inconveniently, the hand basin was located in an alcove beside the bathroom, and within the main bedroom. Continental Breakfast was a gourmet delight. In all our years of travelling, never have we encountered such a vast array of choices being offered. The dining area set up also ensured an opportunity for guests to share their plans and opinions on a variety of topics. A+. On the disappointment side was the lack of a good and consistent Wi-Fi signal being achievable in our room. To compensate, one was required to make use of the downstairs reception area. Complimentary coffee in our room consisted of two (one cup) sachets for the entire four days.
