I really like staying here - I come to Broome Often for work. The roey is affordable and good vibes, staff are great and accommodating. Rooms are clean and neat and everything you need.

Second time staying at The Roey. First time give benefit of the doubt noise levels however last week Thursday night. You expect noise until maybe 12 midnight. One of the other residents at the Motel decided to invite some people back to their room to party until 2.30am in the morning. Then at around 3 am one of the backpackers decided to start a party with duff duff music to top it off. Sent an email to management to the above matter and the response was less than underwhelming. If you want to party The Roey is your place to go. If you want to sleep at night you best find another locating.

Very dated rooms. Mosquitoes in room - not sure where they are coming from but they kept getting in. Room smelt like a pub - old beer smell. Noisy aircon and walls are paper thin meaning I heard lots from next door. Pool looked good inviting but the chairs and plant debris around made it look unkempt. No night lights down stairs so had to use phone light to walk out and in. Just wouldn’t recommend staying here. Roey Management - if you are going to charge nearly $300 a night - spend some money on paint and lights and bathrooms.

Receptionist was friendly and very welcoming. Unfortunately i arrived 5pm in the afternoon and was confronted and walking to my room there intoxicated guests on either side of my room. Which i didnt mind as i was tired. What I did mind was the cursing after 10pm walking backwards and forwards past my room.

The location in Broome is excellent. Unfortunately, since I last stayed there, the dining facilities have changed - there are insufficient tables, and they are not inviting in layout.
