Very old fashioned. Room up many narrow flights of stairs with very weak WiFi. Food was very good value and well cooked and staff were extremely friendly helpful

Bacon was under cooked. The man that checked me in was very unhelpful, unprofessional and not welcoming at all. In fact it was very rude and unpleasant. Would not recommend at all.

So long as you appreciate that this is a very old building which has its quirks, the Falcon should suit you very well. Our room was fairly basic, but very clean. There were a lot of welcome details such as multi-way power strips, nice biscuits and nice smelly things in the bathroom. What really made a great impression was the staff. From the first contact with the receptionist, the barman and the waitresses at dinner and breakfast, they were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was good, everything I hoped it would be. Dinner in the restaurant turned out to be great. Food was excellent and so was the service. Surprisingly good value too.

Cozy, antique, and very well mantained hotel. Clean, and staff very helpfull and welcoming.
No lifts, only stairs. But understandable with the age of the building.
I would definetely go back. And the breakfast excellent.

quirky uniqueness
Lovely hotel, breakfast was excellent with great service. The slanting floors in the bedroom was unique, made me feel like I’d had a few drinks when I hadn’t. This hotel is 100,s of years old, so don’t expect all the mod cons, but it is full if character and friendly staff.
