Bromma Hotels with Gym

A minute's walk from the Charles Bridge, you can enjoy the quiet time of the bridge that is almost unmanned every morning. It is definitely the most intensive place for Asian people to take wedding photos. After going through the bridge, you can at least hear a variety of accents such as Korea, Japan, Thailand, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Walking to the old city center is also very convenient.

First up, the breakfast is excellent! There's a whole lot of choice for everyone. There's also enough of place to sit and the breakfast area is not cramped for space. The location is also very good as its quite near to the Alvik bus/train station. A grocery store ICA is also located very near to the hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms make the rating go down. Scandik doesn't have air conditioning in any of their hotels. They have some kind of an air regulation system which is centrally controlled which means that one can't do much individually in the room. Also the windows cannot be opened at all. So during hot summer days, this makes some of the rooms extremely hot if they are located in areas receiving a lot of sunlight. I visited Scandik Alvik during such a summer time and it was extremely uncomfortable. Our room was hot compared to the other rooms my friends and family were staying in. The staff did their best to help us out and move us to a different room after 4 uncomfortable nights but it was still a dampener. The other issue is that kettles are not available in all the rooms. My room didn't have one and when my wife contracted a cold and needed warm water to soothe her sore throat, no kettles were available. We got one only after 2 days because only a few rooms have kettles. There's no mini bar or fridge either. I guess my issues arose due to the heat - maybe in cooler months, these things wouldn't matter.

Stayed here several days with our tour group. It is located out of downtown Stockholm right beside the Bromma airport, domestic like only. It is right beside a large mall and businesses, groceries, liqour, sporting stores, you name it, so lots of shopping if you desire. Checkin was effortless, staff were friendly and helpful. They have an old funky elevator is used, with a cockpit theme, sort of near and nobody else used so I could go up and down without waiting! Room was average in a sense, the bed was the usual double twin, comfortable and I slept well. Bathroom, shower has the half glass partition and you have large squeege to push the water from you shower back. Only thing, the carpet in room I did not like and it had stains on it. Has onsite bar and breakfast/restaurant. Food was good no issues. This is mainly a business hotel I think, for people overnight in and out.

Moreover, Solvalla Horse Racing Track is about 0.6 miles away.This Bromma apartment type hotel has a good atmosphere, good food, comfortable beds, good breakfast, and the opportunity to work out.You also stress in the inner city and mess with transport to the flight. At our hotel the distance to Stockholm Bromma Airport is only about 400 meters.The hotel is located about 500 meters from Bromma Blocks where there are over 80 shops distributed among an award-winning mall in the old aircraft hangar and in the trading area Bromma Blocks. Some of the stores you will find here are XXL, Ahlens, Panduro, Odd Molly, Claes Olsson and COOP Forum. Solvalla Travbanam which is only 200 meters away, is where many exciting races take place, not to mention Elitloppet. In the summer there is a flea market in Solvallas large car park twice a month.The Friends Arena is only about 3.1 miles away and you can easily get there by cross-country railway or bus.

So our family came to Stockholm for a weekend and stayed in this Forenom Stockholm hotel. What should I tell you? It's completely economy style hotel. You get what you payed for. I was pleasantly surprised by the free laundry. Metro station was really very close to the hotel so it's very easy to reach any needed Stockholm point. Small kitchen had all needed equipment to cook some food. Perfect views of city through the window. A big minus - untidy half cleaned rooms. After all I would come back here one more time again.
