Small double room, very soft mattress, bathroom was tiny, no surface for your washbag etc, very tatty bathroom suite, sink cracked from top to bottom, shower leaked so badly that the flooring was warped and leaked onto bedroom carpet leaving wet patch after each use.

Short stay for work, 2nd time at this hotel. Room was nice, comfortable and clean with everything needed. Actually had a great nights sleep. Headed for breakfast in the morning, I needed to pay which was fine but the server (Lee) made a big fuss in front of other guests that I must pay. I grabbed a coffee and started to get my breakfast while he sorted the payment, he presented the card reader to me at the food counter, “that will be £12.95” as loud as he could in front of the room. I was hardly going to run away pal. I actually felt like he was trying to embarrass me, not sure why, just take my payment at the table or ask me to nip to reception and pay!!! The breakfast was actually very poor, hardly warm, and everything was clearly as cheap as possible, watery beans, the thinnest bread and sausages were full of gristle. It certainly wasn’t a £12.95 breakfast. Had I have not had breakfast this would have been a 5-star review. Would I stay again? - Yes but I would not have breakfast, I’d find a McDonald’s.

We stayed for our 25th Anniversary and as always the staff made us very welcome and were attentive when needed. We were upgraded to an executive room at no extra cost. There was a good selection on the dinner menu, a good choice of drinks, and the breakfast was very good.

Overall its great hotel with brilliant staff but we had a slight problem with the bed being very hard and the breakfast serving nerds to improve a little The foid was very good quality but the plates wrre stone cold and food was only juat warm but would deff stay again Kind regards Kelvin,Tina and Ava the pup.
