Broek in Waterland liegt sehr schön und das nur wenige Kilometer vor Amsterdam. Es gibt eine einfache und ideale Anbindung per Bus/Bahn dorthin. Das Haus liegt direkt am kleinen See und ist wunderschön gelegen. Von dieser Lage lebt es auch. Das Gebäude ist aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und gu renoviert. Die Zimmer befinden sich oben und sind durch eine enge Treppe zu begehen. Die Gestaltung unseres Zimmers war sehr ansprechend. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind geräumig. Das Frühstück war an 2 Tagen ganz wunderbar und professionell von Hélène der Dame beim Frühstück präsentiert worden. Das war lecker. Die beiden anderen Tage war es dann das Gegenteil: unprofessionell, fehlerhaft und lieblos von der Kollegin. Schade! Ein Abendessen haben wir auch gebucht, dies hat uns allerdings nicht überzeugt.

Wir haben 5 Nächte an diesem wunderschönen Ort verbracht und durften sogar zweimal ein Abendessen der Spitzenklasse geniessen. Es war sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet und der Garten mit Seeanschluss lädt zum träumen ein. Es war einfach traumhaft 😍😍😍

We zijn hier voor de derde keer geweest en komen zeker nog voor een vierde keer. Prachtig idyllisch plekje. We komen er helemaal tot rust en worden compleet in de watten gelegd. Heerlijke bedden, prachtig uitzicht, super lekker ontbijtje.

Pamela and Karel were wonderful hosts, amazing chefs, and the space so beautifully curated. An amazing quiet getaway where you can find peace. I had a lovely unique massage from a local practitioner and it was really easy to take the bus to Amsterdam for the day. Highly recommend this gem!

Na het maken van een vergissing in het boeken van een specifieke datum, werd er zeer onprofessioneel en onbeschoft gereageerd aan de telefoon. Er was geen sprake van meedenken of überhaupt een oplossingsgericht gesprek. Na het uitleggen dat de specifieke datum een emotionele waarde had en gepaard ging met een herdenking van een groot verlies in de familie, werd er zeer harteloos gereageerd met de opmerking: 'wij hadden vandaag ook graag naar de bouwmarkt gewild en dat is ook niet gelukt'.

Beautifully restored Inn on the Lake in an idyllic setting ! Karel and Pamela could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We were in the red room which was very spacious and comfortable with stunning views over the lake .Breakfast and dinners were delicious. I would highly recommend a stay in this tranquil , lovely Inn .

Such a lovely place! The house is old and carefully renovated and beautifully decorated. Peaceful surroundings in a charming village. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and made with ingredients sourced locally. The hosts were very helpful with just the right balance of giving guests peace and privacy. Do note that the stairs to the guest rooms are quite steep and narrow!

Beautiful house in a superb location, set in the centre of a delightful village. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Wonderful rooms and delicious food. Easy access to Amsterdam and the whole area. We had a very relaxing break. Thank you so much!
