A lovely b&b, rooms clean and bed comfy, we had a room looking over the water which was lovely, breakfast was good and plentiful, Ellen the owner was there every morning tending to you, nice wee lounge for you to sit and relax in after a day of walking, will certainly be back, and highly recommend.

Dunvegan House was the perfect place to stay on Arran. Minutes walking distance from the ferry terminal and facing the beatiful Brodick bay (perfect location for many hikes as well, which is what I came for). Amazing hospitality and perfect room with everything you could need. They were also very very lovely, as I mentioned that on the last day I wouldn't be having breakfast due to having to catch the early ferry and they offered for me to have breakfast at 7.15. It was great to start the day this way! This will definitely be my new base when I return to Arran, it feels like home.

Excellent stay: Roomy room with beautiful view out to the water and beachwalk. I had a sink in the room, which was super convenient and a separate private bathroom that was spacious. It was safe, comfortable, perfect location within walking distance of the ferry and bus terminal, a bus stop outside (tho the bus terminal has the most options), and a delicious and generous breakfast. Helen is a terrific host, and in the mornings, another kind lady serves breakfast. I paid in cash, not via a website, for a terrific deal that would be difficult to top

Thank you for a great stay. The guest house was extremely comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also really good. The location has great views of the shore and of Goatfell, and it is easy to reach for example, the ferry terminal, Arran Aromatics, the chocolate shop, the cheese shop, the Arran Brewery and local walks.

A warm welcome, comfy, well-equipped room...and porridge made on request for breakfast...the best porridge ever! Great location near a bus stop. Relaxing place to stay. Plenty of choice for breakfast, as much or as little as one wanted, served in a lovely sunny breakfast room by friendly ladies well-versed in hospitality and cooking. Spot on!

Loved every minute of our sadly short visit here. My partner and I came over to the island for one night. We were on a later boat, but we're very glad that the landlady (who's name I sadly didn't catch) stayed up to welcome us in and had the heating on for us in the room. The room itself had a very homely and cosy vibe, with plenty of teas, coffees and toiletries for the stay. Breakfast was lovely, the full Scottish was very filling and set us up for a day of exploring. Have a feeling the landlady was chuffed to see someone else from Northern Ireland as well! Would happily be back the next time we visit the island! Would highly recommend! Friendly, warm welcome, and a great place to lay your head for the night!

Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at Dunvegan. It was an emotional time for me as I was there to scatter my late mother's ashes. She died last year at age 94 years and Arran was in her favourite place. I was in a slightly heightened emotional state but was greatly helped by staying at Dunvegan. It is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a fantastic view of the Brodick Bay and Goatfell. The location is very handy for the ferry. Helen and the other lady (sorry, I didn't get her name) could not have been more welcoming. Breakfast is served in a lovely, cheery front room. Everywhere I went on Arran brought back happy memories of family holidays with my mum and dad in years gone by. It is a wonderful place.
