In the town of Broadway, I saw peace and tranquility, and those quaint buildings. The hotel is located among a group of distinctive buildings. Although it is an old building, it is very well decorated, and the modern and ancient elements complement each other. The room is small and cozy, and the bathroom is clean and tidy. The hotel has several options for breakfast, which is pure British style and quite satisfactory, with large portions and delicious taste. However, I do not recommend choosing Scottish smoked fish as it is too salty. The bar is quite lively at night, and you can taste the local GIN wine. Turn right when you exit the parking lot and walk to the end. There is a cafe there which is quite popular. You can have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake and chat with the locals.

Fantastic stay - brilliant food, staff and hotel. We stayed here for four nights, with both breakfast and one night dining at the restaurant within the hotel. I can’t recommend the Broadway hotel enough - the staff were fantastic, the rooms were immaculate (Ours was aptly named ‘War of Attrition’) and the food was absolutely lovely. Cannot recommend enough!

Stayed for one night in Abbots Room. Lovely big room overlooking the front. Was a warm summer’s evening so lots of people sat in the garden. There was a constant noise of chatter which even with the windows shut could clearly be heard. There was at least a Dyson fan in the room. My only negatives are in the bathroom. The towels are tiny. Just like being in France. The price of staying here warrants large bath sheets. The other is there are Molton Brown toiletries - nice. However, if you provide shampoo, why not conditioner? Body lotion is usually provided in hotels too - not here! We had dinner included in our stay. Firstly the waitress was excellent. Can’t remember her name but she was from Johannesburg. The food was all very nice. To be picky, I’d have preferred the goats cheese in the starter to be slightly warmed rather than cold and firm like on a cheese board. All in all a nice stay, but a couple of slight improvements would match the price bracket this hotel is in.

Just had lunch there. We had fish and chips and the ploughman lunch plus drinks for just over £50. Food was good and enough to eat. The fish was very crispy as were the thick chips with peas and curry. A delight to eat. My ploughman lunch could have done with another half of a baguette and slice of ham.

Just arrived home after our short break The Broadway Hotel was everything we’d hoped , located in a stunning setting, our room (Desert Orchid) was perfect overlooking the beautiful gardens the hotel is well laid out with rooms away from bar and restaurant areas, our meal was fantastic as were the staff that looked after us especially Danielle (attentive professional) a real asset , our breakfast equally as nice freshly prepared and piping hot. Ladies on reception warm and friendly and nothing is a problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely be back . Good work guys 👏🏻

Overnight stay worked perfectly; easy parking; quick check in, comfortable room with all the necessary facilities. The only downside was dinner, sitting outside on a beautiful evening. The Sea Bream was superb. But the service was not great. It was necessary to order drinks and food at the bar .No problem with that even if the person who took the order was unsmiling and perfunctory. The strange part was that at no stage anyone asked how the meal was. I was ready for another drink and sweet. No one bothered to check. The answer seemed to be a return inside to the bar to order - just like Pret A Manger or Costa. This was disappointing for a hotel with upmarket prices. As a result, went across the road to the Swan Inn and was made most welcome there.

Had a genuinely awful time at the Broadway Hotel. I ordered a soft drink and the young barman placed it at the opposite end of the bar, then held the card machine just out of reach and pulled it away before I could tap. When I asked if he could hand me the drink, he moved it slightly but still kept it out of reach – then shrugged like he couldn’t care less. Unbelievably rude. When I sat down and told my friends, they all said they’d had the same experience – apparently this kind of attitude from the staff is normal here. Totally unprofessional, passive-aggressive, and frankly pathetic. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
