absolutely amazing place we had an overnight stay at this beautiful location. Dinner in hook was amazing, the service, food , setting all 10/10 can i mention Rebaca that looked after us, she’s a real asset to the place. Her attentiveness and attention to detail was great and she made our evening!!! The rooms are lovely, beds so comfortable and literally can’t rate this place enough we will hopefully be back

From the minute we arrived we loved this hotel. We had the warmest welcome from Karen who sat down with us to check us in. We had a room upgrade as we were celebrating big Birthdays, this was a pleasant surprise. We checked into our room and wow, it was absolutely stunning, it even had a log burner in the room. We then went for drinks in the bar followed by dinner in the restaurant. All staff make you feel very welcome and food was delicious. It is such a beautiful place to stay. After breakfast we went for a walk around the estate and the views are breathtaking. Thank you all for making us feel so spoilt. We will definitely be back.

So we sent 2 nights in hilly hut 2 & absolutely loved it.The hotel & all the staff are a five star experience -thankyou for making it a fantastic experience Room - excellent The Hook 1st class Staff -1st class. Over all. 10 out of 10 As a side note the walk from the hotel to broadway through the field is very tricky & the little stone paving over the brook is slightly dangerous with all the mud you may want to scatter hardcore if you can.

Wonderful stay at The Fish Hotel. Great welcome on arrival. We stayed in a Cabin named Puck. Everything you could ask for & more, roll top bath, log burner, jacuzzi outside with fire pit & swing chair. A walk into Broadway following the hotel map, yes it way muddy in places but we enjoyed it, what do you expect after the wettest winter in years. We had cocktails before dinner in the Hook restaurant, we shared scotch egg to start followed by rib eye steak & cod Kiev. dessert as sticky toffee pudding to share. Fantastic food & service. This is most definitely the best stay we have experienced in the uk. We cannot wait to return. Thank you.

I am writing this as I travel back from a lovely overnight stay for my husband's birthday. From the moment I booked, i had high hopes. The communication from the pre check-in was great and friendly. I mentioned it was my husband's birthday on the online form, at check he was greeted with a friendly 'happy birthday' and this was repeated for our restaurant reservation later that evening, alongside a little birthday plate and fudge. The hotel is warm, welcoming, and relaxed. Very thoughtfully designed. We had the Maudslay suite and it was so wonderful to walk in to the radio on, lamps on, and a handwritten note,hugely welcoming. As mentioned upon check out i think only one tiny thing missing was one more lamp to light the seating area, especially during the winter months. This didn't detract from the overall fabulousness of the room.. Food in the lounge was great, bloody Mary ketchup was a touch too peppery, bordering on inedible even for my husband who takes his bloody Mary's very spicy! Food in hook was superb! We had delicious monkfish and halibut. Breakfast was fresh, quality produce and great service The service in the lounge bar i had prepared myself for but i ordered a carafe of wine and one beer. Nothing that is particularly tricky or time consuming, after 10 minutes I could see three members of staff behind the bar all fiddling with the computer, no sign of drinks. Bar man steps away from the screen, wipes the bar, wipes a glass. My husband can see the beer tap there, within reach, not being poured. Then some action, 24 minutes later, our drinks arrived. The bar wasn't busy I hasten to add. I'm not known for my patience but that was too long to wait and was a bit annoying! We commented we were lucky we had a wine card to help ourselves for our pre dinner drink as wouldn't have held out hope for getting one before dessert! That aside, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable, relaxing, great food. What more could you want! Thank you.

From the moment we walked into the reception at the Lodge we were so impressed.We were greeted by Gavin who gave us such a warm welcome and informed us that we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a suite at the coach house. (Due to it being my birthday) Our room was beautiful, modern,clean,warm and welcoming. We had a note from the manager saying Happy Birthday and a lovely little box of chocolates. The staff were all so helpful,polite and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice. Service in the bar on our first night was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush and it was relaxing sitting by the fire. We would thoroughly recommend The Fish Hotel. We had a fantastic stay.
