The highlights for our stay were the pool and location. We stayed for 2 nights with our daughter in a deluxe 2 bedroom chalet. The chalet was fairly basic, small and simple. The bed was only a double and the bathroom had zero bench space, both were annoying, otherwise it was ok. It was well equipped with bunk beds, couch, kitchen with stove top and microwave (note no oven or dishwasher). The best features were the heated indoor pool which we spent an hour enjoying, even though the outside temperature was only 17 degrees. The location was perfect and the playground was also great. The rates probably match what you getbut the same beach front location as some resorts that charge twice the price!

Fabulous Easter weekend - direct beach access and heated indoor pool, clean ablutions, daily coffee and bakery vans, school holiday activities for the kids and helpful staff. Thanks Kelly and the team at discovery, look forward to seeing you again next year!

We were originally booked to camp here but due to the weather called the park to see if any cabins were available. Luckily they had a safari tent available and we were able to stay out of the weather and have a comfortable night. Thesauri tent was awesome - spacious and comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend.

I love this holiday park, but when an unfortunate incident occurred with a power outage, nobody in the park was given any option other than check out or wait and see. With power outage for 24 hours over Easter Sunday and chalets unlikely to be taken by new visitors, the least they could have done would be to allow the customer a choice to see whether power came back on rather than early check out. After nearly 24 hours we had no alternative but to cut the holiday short or spend another expensive night in darkness with no shower. For some bizarre reason, the rude staff on the front desk didn’t seem to comprehend this, but reluctantly extended our checkout to midday. Power was still not restored and didn’t look likely, so we left. After begging for a refund for the last night, we were told when we left ‘don’t come back!’ Such a shame when Kelly & the other staff on site are nice & friendly as others let you down.

We booked in over Christmas and I do understand that because it’s peak season that they triple their prices. I also understand about a 2 p.m. check-in time, BUT we had rung a few days before to see if we could get in a bit earlier and told we could. Suffice to say when we got there they denied they had told us that, locked up the office for lunch and refused to take any phone calls from people who had also been told they could check in earlier. In all my days of working in the tourism industry and also being a traveller I have never come across anybody so unpleasant in reception. She refused to acknowledge the Discovery Parks membership discount, told me that they did not recognise under the Discovery operational procedures. Simply put she was a shocker. Better parks to stay at
