Fantastic location. Close to lots of restaurants and shops. Decently large room. A bit dated overall. Needs a few extra things for a stay longer than a night or two - fridge, microwave, basic utensils.

Comfy bed,hot powerful shower,warm and quiet room. Nice food and pint in the bar so nothing to complain about. Would definitely stay again

Great hotel, walking distance to Westwood cross shopping centre. Not too far for a drive to the beach. Restaurant opposite if do not want to go to far to find somewhere to eat.

Stayed here a few times , nice people, pub across the road has a good menu and food is lovely, hotel rooms could do with a lick of paint but apart from that a great place to stay 👍👍👍

Weekend stay. Obviously a backpackers room, very little space to empty clothes Room not made up on Saturday - managed to change towels with manager but bins overflowing, dusty and bed not made and TV not working (Manager had to repair) When customers in this day and age are looking for value for money (cost £150 per night)this was poor.

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending an event at Dreamland. Check in desk is in the pub which is fine, left our bags in the car got our key then took our bags to the hotel as the 2 buildings are seperate. (Whoever moaned about dragging their cases through the pub leave em in the car! Simples! Room was clean, had all we needed including towels and extra pillows and tea & coffee facilities. Nice black out curtains. I didnt see one staff member in the 3 days we were there but knew we could go in the pub and find someone if needed. All in all a lovely stay and i will be back. Breakfast in the pub was nice too. Really good location with shops right outside such as savers, jd sports etc with mcdonalds burger king, b&m, home bargains, primark etc all a few mins walk plus a huge sainsburys and tesco. Added bonus Uber now work in the area so we could leave the car and get an easy taxi. Really good stay. Enjoy

We visited the canterbury Bell restaurant today with 2 other couples for breakfast. A very pleasant experience. We have been many times before, and on each occasion it was a nice experience, good choices food. I prefer continental breakfast, which isn't available in many places. Atmosphere, environment, all very pleasant.
