The only thing that could improve would be wifi.
The signal in the area is terrible, so we had to depend in the wifi. But it keeps off frequently and has to reconnect.

Lovely hotel. Great location and nice easy walks to Kingsgate Bay and Joss Bst. Breakfast was disappointing. Had to wait for more juice, milk etc. Staff helpful and enthusiastic but slow service.

WE pre-booked this hotel for eight of us (3 rooms) to celebrate a family member's 'special birthday'. The hotel is located in a splendid position overlooking the bay and just a couple of minutes walk and you're on the beach which is a 'blue flag' beach with a lifeguard. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was lovely with a good choice of food. We all had a hearty breakfast! Even the 6 year old- a very fussy eater- asked for seconds! The room was fine. It was clean and small although the walls were very thin and you could hear the people next door. The outside seating area is very pleasant where we had a couple of late night drinks. We would not hesitate to return.

A very disappointing experience. We ordered 2 drinks and sandwiches, the bar wasn’t busy yet the sandwiches took over 30 mins to arrive during which time I had to chase up the order. Whist the server was very apologetic she couldn’t justify why given the low numbers in the bar what had happened to the order. However, whist this was frustrating it paled into insignificance when the sandwiches finally arrived. The chicken/bacon sandwich ranks as one of the worst ever. The bread was so dry and toasted on one side, it was almost inedible, I suspect it was stale. The chicken was hacked into lumps and covered just half of the sandwich, the mayo too, same too the small piece of bacon. As for the cheese sandwich, the bread was so dry it was unpleasant. The hotel looks a good stopping off point for lunch, but keep walking as looks in this case won’t deliver.

The hotel is in a superb location and staff, catering are great. However they compromise on guest comfort. We had a superior room but there were no armchairs (only hardback chairs), no bar fridge for drinks we had brought and no fan for the two warm nights of our stay despite mention of a Dysan fan in their booklet.
