The location, amenities, and views were spot on… no complaints there. However, the apartment itself fell short of expectations: • Bedroom 1: Pillows were uncomfortable and the TV didn’t work, which was disappointing. • Bedroom 2: No bedside tables or drawers for storage, which made things difficult for two guests. • Bedroom 3: Also had no bedside tables. • Only one bedroom had a mirror. In addition: • Curtains were torn, stained, and in poor condition. • Windows were dirty. • The coffee machine wasn’t working and was mouldy, and the kettle looked unhygienic so we didn’t use it. • There were greasy fingerprints above the toilet, giving the impression of very poor cleaning standards. • We were given only two key fobs despite having four couples staying, which made it inconvenient to manage. This goes for only 1 towel each meaning we had to use our shower towel for the pool. For accommodation advertised as “luxury,” the lack of cleanliness and basic essentials was very disappointing.

Our stay at The Oracle Broadbeach Tower 2 from August 28-31st was a masterclass in disappointment. For the hefty price of $1,430 for three nights, plus $120 for parking92 cars), you'd think we were getting a luxury experience—think again. The layout of the apartment and position were good - but that's where the positives end. Once we stepped inside, it was clear this place was decades past its prime. The heavily stained beige carpet looked like it had hosted a thousand parties—or perhaps a thousand spills. Every single shear curtain was torn to shreds, resembling a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie. I assume they have been washed and during the washing process have torn. The curtains were crinkled and wrinkled like a batch of overcooked bacon left in the pan for too long. They were rehung without so much as a quick iron, probably to hide the gaping holes and ragged edges, making you wonder if the apartment’s only design goal was to give us a glimpse of what happens when curtains go to war. The furniture? Oh, where to start. The dining seats were so disgusting. Filthy and flaking pleather that even the brave would hesitate to sit. One seat actually fell apart the moment someone sat down—like a scene straight out of a slapstick comedy. The sofas in the lounge, though comfortable, looked like they had been recycled from the local tip shop. Their armrests absolutely putrid - it was a test of one's own immunity system, to attempt sitting in them and emerge not requiring a penicillin shot!. Given we could NOT sit in the dining chairs though it meant, it was the sofa, the floor (that was even more filthy) or the outdoor furniture on the deck. For the most part we opted for the outdoor furniture. The paintwork in the apartment was more marked than an overzealous graffiti artist’s canvas. And don’t even get me started on the bathroom—an ever-leaking puddle of water from the master bathtub that was never even turned on during our stay. Lovely. The refrigerator was rusted on the outside, with perished seals on the inside, making us question its storage capabilities. To add insult to injury, we were handed four coffee pods for four adults over three days. When we asked for more, we were told we could pay extra. Because nothing says ‘luxury’ like rationed caffeine in a supposedly high-end apartment. The entire apartment—stained, filthy, and frankly disgusting. It’s mind-boggling that such a place is marketed as ‘luxury’ when it’s clearly a relic of what once might’ve been. Honestly, I’ve never felt so disgusted by a rental. It was like waiting for hidden cameras to pop out and tell us we’d been pranked. Who in their right mind thinks torn curtains, rusty appliances, dirty furniture, and peeling/marked paint are acceptable in a premium apartment? For over $500 a night, I expected something noble—what I got was feral. I’ve waited for over a week since our departure for The Oracle to send us a feedback email, and surprise, surprise—they haven't bothered

Although the room itself was very nice, other amenities and hotel reception were not up to the expected standard for the price we paid. For example; The elevators were flooded and therefore mostly out of order on our first day, while we completely understand this is out of their control, the response and the way this was handled was quite disappointing. When we needed help with our room they refused to send someone up because of the elevators (we were on the 6th floor and routinely used the stairs). The stairs themselves were dark, confusing to navigate and the doors would not open from within the stairwell. We were not informed that the spa was out of order our whole stay for PLANNED maintenance (in winter). Not all the lights in our room worked, the internet on the TV would not connect and we received a very slow response to this. Because we booked through a third party, the hotel was very resistant to help us with any issues - and outright refused to hold our bags in their designated bag room. We understand that this isn’t this companies fault but the reception was very rude and not willing to help third party bookings and seemed upset that we had used the third party at all.

Luxury and Convenience Luxurious accommodation in the heart of Broadbeach, everything was in walking distance.

Property was clean and well presented. Kitchen and laundry had all we needed. Disappointing there was no storage in 2nd bedroom which meant the kids lived out of suitcase. Hotel and surroundings were also clean. Pool was not lit up like picture! Didn't realise there was only one bathroom either not their fault but mine. Very easy walk to groceries, dining and beach

On the smaller side for a two bedroom apartment. The pillows and bed both on the hard side. Otherwise pretty much as expected.
