Amazing location and friendly staff. Apartment was tidy, but not terribly clean. Could do with a renovation, but okay for a few nights.

Couldn't have a better position, close to everything

We have stayed at these apartments for seven years and have always been happy with our experience, recommending them to friends and family. Unfortunately, our visit earlier this month was a huge letdown. Upon arrival, despite paying a premium for a balcony room on one of the higher floors, we were assigned a room halfway up the building. Not a huge issue, but the moment we entered, we were hit with a musty smell. The carpets were loose and dirty, the walls were scuffed, and the air conditioner fan on the balcony was rusty and in poor condition. The tiny table was barely big enough for one person, let alone two. The apartment simply wasn't in a condition that justified the price we paid. We immediately decided not to stay and would look for another place. The manager came to inspect the room and reluctantly admitted it "needed refurbishment." She offered us another room, two floors down. While this room was slightly better, it still didn't meet our expectations. It had tiled floors instead of carpet, which was an improvement, but the walls were still scuffed, and the plantation blinds were falling apart, held together by masking tape and unable to be properly adjusted. The final straw came when I found my black shorts covered in a layer of white dust from the wardrobe. Clearly, the cleaning staff is not doing their job properly. We decided to stay in the end, but we will not be returning. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and it is clear that the property has gone downhill. If you're looking for a well-maintained, clean place to stay, we recommend you look elsewhere.
