River-Front Cottage On The Juniata River

Please know that the health and safety of our guests is our primary concern! We follow CDC cleaning and sanitation guidelines as well as maintaining a 1-day (24-hour) buffer between rentals. Peaceful cabin with screened-in porch, large deck, fully equipped kitchen. Sit on the porch swing and watch the river. Or take a float in your kayak or tube, there are steps to the river between our two cabins as well as plenty of public launch points nearby. Close access to the river lets you swim or fish to your heart's content. We have 2 one-person kayaks available with paddles and life jackets. Must sign a waiver to use the kayaks. A birder's paradise! We've seen osprey, eagles, herons and other water birds, as well as countless songbirds. Add your spottings to our list! Visit historical sites like Old Bedford Village or the Coverlet Museum, or shop for antiques nearby. Cabin is close to Bedford and Everett, but on a quiet rural lane with no through traffic. Enjoy the fire ring and picnic table in the yard, or dine inside with views of the tranquil, shaded yard. Cabin is rustic, with basic amenities including Wi-Fi internet, a flat screen smart TV, and a gas grill. It's the perfect spot for those who just want to "get away from it all". Please note that we do not provide sheets or towels. Also, please be aware that the cabin is not toddler-proof! Cleaning supplies are located under the kitchen sink and in the bathroom, and upstairs bedrooms have curtains rather than doors.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 2 total).Dogs must be leashed when outside.
