The four stars are for the friendliness of the owners. So welcoming, especially with a dog and couldn't be more helpful at breakfast. The location is perfect and self check-in was easy, parking at £7 per night in a seaside resort was good and on the harbourside. The views from the seaview room was stunning, especially at sunset. Breakfast was good, full English plus toast, pastries, cereals and yogurts, juice. All well known brands and good cafetiere coffee. The room was small, the bathroom tiny and quite tired, a freshen up of the bathroom and room would make such a difference. We could take pictures and zoom in on the negatives but they were easy to overlook. The bedding and towels were fresh and clean and the bed comfy. The room had a doggy smell., but we had a dog so weren't bothered personally! If you want four star luxury, this isn't for you and you would need to pay a lot more in this location. The New Quay inn was worth a visit and we ate at Rockfish, Petit Maison and fab cocktails at Liberty. Was a lovely weekend.
