Driftwood B&B

Driftwood is rated as 5 star, and it is well deserved. The B&B was absolutely spotless and finished to a high standard. The room had all we needed with smart TV, coffee machine and very comfortable bed. The bathroom also was finished to a high standard and felt like you were in an expensive hotel. The real selling point for me was that this was one of the balcony rooms. The balcony was large and with probably one of the best views of the harbour and facing in the right direction for the morning sun. The owners Zoe and Keith made us feel very welcome and put on lovely breakfast with plenty of choices. Position was great with steps to the side of the building and about a 2 minute walk to the harbour where we found plenty of quality places to eat. Parking was limited but we were able to park across the road and leave the car there for the weekend. If there was anything missing it was a dressing table, but I'm not sure where one would fit because of the layout. . My wife managed ok as there were several mirrors and sockets for the provided hairdryer. Highly recommended and first choice for a return visit to Brixham.

Located in the quaint and quiet back streets of Brixham above the hustle and bustle, Driftwood B & B provides a relaxing and restful haven of peace and tranquillity whilst also providing direct access to the town and amenities. From the moment of our arrival to the point of departure, we enjoyed excellent accommodation and exceptional hospitality throughout our three night holiday. Our room (Shoalstone) was immaculate in both presentation and cleanliness with fabulous fixtures, fittings and furnishings and was very well equipped with all mod cons and creature comforts. The room was positioned on the top (third) floor and as such Shoalstone showcased the very best views of Brixham and beyond, courtesy of the panoramic picture window and Juliet balcony. Breakfast was a beautiful bounty of delicious delights which was always efficiently and expertly executed to the point of perfection. Thank you! What a fantastic b&b !! Zoe and Keith were the nicest hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The decor was beautiful and the attention to detail was second to none - even down to 2 types of pillow and as for the choice you get at breakfast - it was fabulous ( thanks Keith for getting my eggs just how I like them). The views from the rooms and the guest terrace was incredible and I would go back in a heartbeat so, thank you Zoe and Keith for a wonderful 4 night stay at your beautiful boutique b& b 👍🏻❤️
