Mon avis concerne le Kyriad du 13 avenue Jacques et Bernadette Chirac . Hôtel vieillissant , ne méritant pas ses 3 étoiles, par contre très bon accueil. La chambre (à 2 lits) exigüe, étriquée, mobilier d'un autre siècle. L'un des 2 lits était accolé au mur, sous la fenêtre! Parlons de la salle de bain minuscule, à peine plus d'un mètre carré : déjà, mieux vaut laisser la porte ouverte si vous voulez vous y mouvoir. Lavabo accolé à la toute petite cabine de douche (au-dessus de 70 kg , à mon avis s'abstenir), on ne peut pas poser ses affaires et pour couronner le tout mauvaise odeur. La clim: impossible à régler, très froide quelque soit la température affichée. Le petit déjeuner à 11 euros: pain décongelé sec, inacceptable. On a déjà fréquenté des Kyriad mais un comme celui-ci c'est une première!

Clean and comfortable bed. Unfortunately the third bed frame was very low and I hit my head on the frame a couple of times. Two large resulting lumps and a bruise on my forehead. The whole room was totally in need of refurbishment - the bathroom had once had a non-slip floor but that has worn away with use. The air conditioning was put in as an afterthought. Awful.

A stunning building dating 1600, perfectly presented as was the inside. Was wondering what rooms would be like but the bedroom was very modern, warm and extremely comfortable. The corridors were presented very well and the views lovely. The two owners were very hospitable, warm and friendly, continental breakfast was very casual and more than adequate. This was an excellent location to act as a base to the surrounding region. It was also an easy distance for town, but there is a small hill on the way back, as you’d expect.

Despite being substantially renovated in 2016 this feels very much like a traditional hotel - and none the worse for that. Very good:- Fair sized room with large bathroom that had a walk-in shower and grab rails for those of us whose balance is not what it was; and for once a shaver point and light that were correctly positioned in relation to one another. Pleasant salon where we could sit and read our books when we did not want to go out in the rain. Location - across the road from the SNCF station. Less than 10 minute walk to town centre. Good:- Above average hotel restaurant where we had a good dinner . Pleasant staff. Comfortable beds. Double curtains that kept out the light from the brightly-lit railway station. Average:- Buffet breakfast (that one has to book the night before ”to save waste”) Needs attention:- No handrail on short but tricky flight of stairs from reception to lift.

The Ibis hotel is well situated on walking distance to the center, it has a public parking in front of the hotel. The lobby has a small bar with drinks and friendly staff. Room is as expected, and had a small balcony. The breakfast was also of good standard!
