We love Bristol and the location for walking (even in the rain). However, this was to be a romantic, quiet escape, and it wasn't. The rooms are much smaller than expected from viewing the photos on the website. The hotel and its fixtures need serious renovation to be called a boutique hotel. The room had two bottles of water and no drinking glasses. There were two of us and only one chair and one suitcase rack. We endured noisy heating, a loud bathroom fan, and a toilet that wouldn't flush properly (flapper valve issues). We could hear the fan from our neighbor's bathroom several times during the night. We had planned a multi-night stay but decided it was easier and more comfortable to return home after the first night's experiences.

Quaint, boutique hotel in beautiful location. Facilities convenient to all town amenities. The adjoining bar, The DeWolfe Tavern accommodated us with food and friendly service despite late check in. Room was very comfortable. Looking forward to our next stay.

Watch out for surprise amenities charges, applied at check out and not disclosed during reservation. $22 per room per night inappropriate for hotel with no pool, restaurant, or actual amenities. Otherwise: Great location, comfortable room, lovely staff.

I usually stay here in the winter when the rates are extremely reasonable. The location can't be beat and the customer service is outstanding. This time I stayed in a room with a fireplace. This was quite nice. Although the gym was in the next building, it's well equipped and open 24 hours! I'll be back in February!

Another wonderful stay - lovely rooms, fantastic neighborhood. Suggest upgrading to the rooms with fireplaces - even in the summer makes is especially cozy! The nearby restaurants are all worth a visit...especially Thames Riverside and DeWolf Tavern. Will absolutely book again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was quick and flexible in resolving the small issues I experienced, and its greatly appreciated. Location was nice for social activities and enjoying the surrounding town. Would stay again for business trips in the area.

I have stayed at this hotel previously while attending business meetings at Roger Williams University. The location is great for just about anything, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this property.

Room 403, what magic. So luxurious and convenient. Romantic and a great location to enjoy Bristol. We would recommend. I have now returned twice and each time is best and different. The service at the hotel is fabulous plus going to the coffee shop for latte and De Wolfe's for oysters and just the joy of being in our room.

It's location that is the Bristol Harbor Inns advantage. The rooms are clean, simple, and adequately equipped - a bed, 2 side chairs, a small table, a TV, and a dorm room fridge. Although amenities are sparse, be prepared to pay the daily "amenities fee".
