I have been on this Earth for 73 years. I have traveled in and outside of the country and slept in many different establishments but this place beats them ALL. Owned by the Kahn Group this filthy pig sty of a motel should have been bulldozed years ago. The city of Bristol should be ashamed of themselves for letting this dive stay in business. Do yourself a favor and avoid Red Roof of Bristol Virginia. Even if it's late at night and there are NO other options d DO NOT SPEND THE NIGHT at this place. Go to Walmart and buy a tent. Sleep in a cardboard box under a bridge. At least you won't get any of the goo that inhabits their moist carpet.

The man who checked us in was super nice and helpful. Our room wasn’t, tho. Our room was musty smelling, and the air conditioner didn’t make it very cool. The beds in our room were almost too small for 2 people, and like laying on a box spring with a thin mattress cover. Luckily we were only there long enough to sleep a few hours.

I liked the location and the bed was clean. The tub was not cleaned with hair around it. Not very sanitary!!!

I have stayed at this red roof for the last 3 or 4 years on my way to visit family in Pennsylvania. It is always clean, bed comfortable and the night time staff remembers me from the year before. I highly recommend this red roof inn. I love the convenience of getting off 81 and back on with no problems.

Not much good to say about this Red Roof Inn, bathroom was in sad shape, ants in the room, chair was falling apart, vinyl floor was pulled up in several places.

Clean but worn
Older hotel, no elevator, no amenities showing signs of age and wear. No where near an 8.4 rating. Was clean, but a 6.5-7.0 rating would be in keeping with the facility. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
