I stayed here while traveling for just one night . It was fine for the one night. The room was clean, bed was comfortable,. It met my needs. The location was perfect and the price was right. The staff was friendly. I had no problems. It was a good value.

Room online and by the nice man at front desk was quoted as $67 . We took it . He kept saying in his somewhat broken English that we had to pay the taxman on top of the $67 . Of course we will no problem . Not looking at the receipt ( my mistake) until late the next day , did I realize he charged us $92 for the room . That’s around 34% tax . AND on the receipt itself , on the line that says taxes and fees ….it says 0 …yes ZERO . Something fishy going on there . Reporting to corporate . Couple other thoughts …it was clean , staff nice , good area of town , bed is WORST EVER , pillows flat , old and hard as a rock . Beware

I have been on this Earth for 73 years. I have traveled in and outside of the country and slept in many different establishments but this place beats them ALL. Owned by the Kahn Group this filthy pig sty of a motel should have been bulldozed years ago. The city of Bristol should be ashamed of themselves for letting this dive stay in business. Do yourself a favor and avoid Red Roof of Bristol Virginia. Even if it's late at night and there are NO other options d DO NOT SPEND THE NIGHT at this place. Go to Walmart and buy a tent. Sleep in a cardboard box under a bridge. At least you won't get any of the goo that inhabits their moist carpet.

Go somewhere else
The room had an odor. The air conditioning had been turned off so it was humid and hot. It made falling asleep that much harder. There was no comfort in this room. The shower had little water pressure.

It served its purpose. Older building, room smelled like smoke. It was fairly clean. Staff was great. Bristol in general is really hard to get around with a car. Took me almost 90 minutes to get an uber to an airport. If you are going to Bristol, either drive or rent a car (not the hotels fault obviously). Considering the price and the limited hotel options in Bristol for the game, it could have been much worse. As long as you know what you’re getting into ahead of time it’s fine.

The room was pretty standard for Red Roof Inn. The room was recently updated. Beds were fine. The room met my needs for a good price.
